Best meat and seafood in yeg. I love that they get their meat and cheese from Lakeside dairy, you can taste the quality. Drinks are well made, probably one of the best whiskey sours I've had in a while!

I find most restaurants in Edmonton to be a bit disappointing. You can always tell it’s a lesser quality product with a big price tag. Much to the point I would rather stay homeHayloft really beat my expectations. Beautiful restaurant with passionate staff, but quality is the star of the show. I would happily always go hereMark really made a point of introducing himself and made me feel like a VIP.

Pretty great place for a steak. The staff seems to take a lot of pride in their serving and food prep/ quality. The ambience is a bit more casual than other steak places in the city, though it also feels a bit less "pretentious".Highly recommend the French Onion Dip

Parking upon arrival is on the small side but I managed to find one in the lot.Upon entering you feel the ambiance, it’s a crossover between a steakhouse decor and fine dining. There’s the steakhouse seating section and the Woodshed burger seating which is smaller yet cozy and private. The menu was a little confusing, especially when seeing it online but once explained it gets clearer. They have a blackboard with meat specials otherwise everything else is on their menu.I ordered the arrancini, beef rib and beers. The service is very fast and the entire staff moves around with purpose. Everything looks super organized and everyone is very friendly. The beef rib was delicious, wow wasn’t expecting that.Very impressed with everything. I was about to go to a traditional steakhouse chain and then I found these guys on google. The ratings are justified, it is good! Thanks ?

Beautiful. Beef Tartare and the Arancini to start, chef’s cut sirloin and the 8oz burger, everything was top notch. Burg and steak both melt in the mouth. Great wine selection, delicious cocktails. Our server, Kayla, was attentive and professional. Mark, the GM, was incredible and made sure everyone in the room was having a great evening. Will be back, 100%.

I have enjoyed the other establishments in this chain of restaurants immensely including Woodshed Burgers and Workshop Eatery. To start off the food at Hayloft was quite good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their entrée but my chicken was overcooked and dry.The part that really disappointed me was the service. The waiter did not seem engaged with us at all and was eager for us to leave. He brought us the debit/credit card machine within minutes of us finishing our entree even though we would have been interested in staying longer for a couple more drinks and the restaurant had quite a few empty tables at the time.I had ordered salmon with my salad and the waiter came to me after and stated they did not have salmon and said he could substitute it with chicken (which was a less expensive option). When we got the bill he was unable to process the gift cards that we had brought and stated that we would just have to come back another time to use the gift cards which was such a disappointment because that was the reason we had come to this restaurant. As well, he charged me for the salmon that I did not get. We contacted the manager who argued with me that the chicken was the same price and stated that I must have gotten the chicken supreme on my salad. I had to get him to look at the menu to show him that the prices were different and he still did not believe me and said he needed to speak to the chef. Finally, he came back and said that yes the waiter did overcharge us but at no point apologized for telling me that I was wrong. Very disappointed in this restaurant and will not be returning.

My husband and I had a date night here and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left the service was fantastic. We each got a steak from their cute specials board that they bring to your table and some sides to share. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. We will definitely be back!!

Very disappointed with the burger. Absolutely no favor and it was supposed to 5 Oz of meat. I had to deep through the lettuce to find it. GF bun was very dry and crumbled apart.

Went for brunch, had the shakshuka steak and eggs, very good, steak was so tender! Atmosphere was lovely. Cappuccino was only so so.

Hayloft is an overrated restaurant in Edmonton with mediocre food and sub-par service.I visited Hayloft twice, once for an anniversary dinner and the second for a Valentine's dinner. The first time we went, the service was quite slow and we didn't feel like we were treated very well. We weren't looked after very well by the staff, and the steak that I ordered was undercooked - it was closer to blue when I ordered it to be done medium-rare. For our whole dinner, we tried to flag someone down to tell them about this but no one paid any attention to our table, so I couldn't ask them to get the steak cooked a bit more to my preferred doneness. We heard some better things about them from friends and decided to give Hayloft a second chance. The second time, the servers were very nice, however we still didn't get very much attention from the servers despite being one of the few tables in the restaurant. The only thing I recommend from our meal is the roasted brussel sprouts. We ordered the baguette and tallow as well, which wasn't good. The tallow was extremely off - it was cold and crumbly, which didn't match with the baguettes being barely warm. The entree I ordered was the catch of the day with halibut and it was overcooked with little-to-no flavour. There are definitely better restaurants in Edmonton for steak and special occasions than Hayloft.
