We tried the bbq boat brisket. We enjoyed it. The portion size was perfect, it was salty and unique . The presentation was amazing. 5/5 stars.

Joanne‘s barbeque house is a great location for me, as my place of employment is just a three minute walk away. This is part of the reason I chose to give them a try. So I ordered for pick up. Online ordering was amazing and simple. I ordered two crispy burgers, fries and gravy for lunch for me and my husband. Food was ready to pick up when they said it would be ready.The burger patties tasted crunchy, beefy , and juicy on the inside. Burger toppings were fresh and generous. One order of fries was plenty for the both of us, they were Flavourful, super crispy yet juicy with oil. The gravy was generous, a bit lumpy. Minimal packaging, which is nice. Didn’t need the extra ketchup that was packed in the bag. We both were very saturated with this meal. Hus band was especially impressed with the quality of the meat patty and how satisfied it made him feel.

This business without a doubt make the best burgers I have had in Edmonton . They are juicy and the beef is crisped perfectly. The cheese burgers have lots of cheese, and the mushroom cheese burgers include an incredible amount of mushrooms. That being said they often do not have the products they advertise.I have no idea when they are actually open. I have driven there at least half a dozen times recently only to find it closed. Again today, Google showed open but when I arrived just after 3:00 PM the doors were locked. Their Facebook page has not been updated in the last week.Great burgers, but I have given up. Five stars for the burgers, reduced because of irregular unannounced hours of actually being open.

Here's my advice. Go there in person or phone in your order to confirm that they're open and if any items are unavailable that day. Online ordering (Door Dash and Skip the Dishes) sucks so don't bother. They are a small (Joanne and Joe), friendly operation that makes excellent food with care and attention. The burgers are simply terrific, huge and very reasonably priced. Some touted places in the city make a far inferior product and charge twice as much. The fish and chips are also a good choice. The only barbeque I've had is the beef brisket and it was excellent, flavourful and moist. I'm not real keen on the interior redecorating, but I'll keep returning for the people and the food.

Went here today for the first time. Saw an add on Facebook market place and wanted to try it out. My girlfriend and I got the pork belly roast (Tuesday special) she had it with Java rice and I had it with fries. We also had pork bbq skewer and Isaw. Overall, we are both satisfied with the food we had. It was very good as well as the service and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for everyone want to try Filipino food. :)

Had a mushroom burger with fries. Over all the burger was good but the tomato was the end piece that still had the vine and also a produce sticker on it. Wasn’t very impressed with the French fries either, they were dripping with grease! Will never return!
I originally learnt of Joanne BBQ house from going to taste of edmonton and seeing their food truck. My husband and I decided to visit today. I got the brisket with cornbread &Java rice. My husband got the same but with chicken skin. Let me tell you, the brisket was amazing , mouthwatering and tender. The java rice was a delicious touch with through cornbread. Did not dissapoint . Definitely worth the 5 stars and I'd go back there in the near future.

Had a hankering for brisket today and Joanne's popped up on Google. Took the 25 minute drive and Wow! Am I ever happy I tried somewhere new! Brisket is outstanding, corn bread and coleslaw was great and the fries with gravy were so delicious! Great portion sizes, was even asked if I preferred to have fatty portion or lean portion, and really good value for money. Looking forward to getting it again! Joanne also gave 5* customer service!
