I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a sensational evening and the venue was indeed one of the reasons for this fruitful evening. The waiters helped in a very nice manner, the food was very good and my buddies were so cheerful. We shall definitely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

In a nutshell it’s amazing, fresh home made food made with love.The owner and staff at the restaurant never failed to make us feel welcomed and warm in their restaurant. It felt like we were coming to a relatives house after a long trip of travelling and just being fed with superb food.They went above and beyond for customer service. My boyfriend came to visit from Serbia and was surprised with how authentic the food was to back home. My parents as well tried for the first time Serbian food and loved everything we tried there! As soon as we went home we told all our family members about Kafana. With no shock my uncle goes here as well because he loves the food!!Keep it up Kafana <3 and to all my Edmontonians, try it you will not be disappointed!! The cevap is to die for. #supportlocal #yeg

Finally made it here for supper after moving into the area 9 months ago. The restaurant is only open for dine-in by reservation at the moment (still does delivery and takeout), so we were the only ones in the front room, which made for a relaxing meal. My wife and I shared a Gypsy platter and side salad, which were both very tasty. I wanted to order the Balkan Burger as well but was warned that it would be too much food (that was the right call, as we barely finished the platter!). I need to go back for that burger now!
