I ordered what was labelled as "beef gyoza" from this restaurant on the Skip the Dishes app, but when they arrived they look and tasted like pork. I had specifically ordered from them as they were the only place I could find in my area that advertized non-pork gyoza. I called the restaurant to ask after trying the gyoza, and they confirmed they only have pork gyoza. I don't eat pork, thankfully not as an allergy or for religious reasons, but I would be concerned about ordering from this restaurant if you have allergies or food restrictions. I mentioned to the person on the phone about the mislabelled meat in the gyoza on the app, but she laughed a bit uncomfortably and hung up. I received a refund through the app for the one item but I wouldn't order from this restaurant again. The rest of the food in the delivery was ok. I am glad for the refund but I am disappointed.Dietary restrictions: These gyoza contain pork, not beef despite what delivery apps may say. Confirm with restaurants before ordering.

Kobe Bistro Sushi is conveniently located in Callingwood in West Edmonton. The food is fantastic and the price is right. Always good! (The restaurant is in need of a visual update as decor is 1980’s, but once you have the sushi, that is quickly forgotten.)

Since I do not like fish (even not eat), the set comes with California Rolls which used sesame instead of crab roe is really perfect for me. The portion of food is quite big if you ordered lunch set. Taste is good. I will come again for sure.

I’ve been going here for years with my family and now on my own! It’s amazing food. I get it almost every week because it’s that good. The beef tataki is a must, I love the sashimi salad with ginger sauce and the roles are all really good as well. Yes sometimes on skip it takes a long time but if I’m in a rush I just go pick it up and they’re always ready in 30 minutes. I believe this is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton. Good quality fish, good ginger sauce also. I love it here !!

Kobe is owned by an actual Japanese family with professionally-trained chefs. I’m Japanese and it’s one of the only places I’ll eat Japanese food at in Edmonton. The food is proper, it’s tasty, clean, and the sauces are absolutely delicious. They also have the sushi options that appeal to locals with the drizzles of sauce and such, but none of it is overdone or gross. The beef tataki is famous there and rightfully so- I would love to bottle the sauce. The prices are almost too reasonable for what you get.
As someone who hss travelled to Tokyo and Kyoto, and sampled sushi from over a hundred restaurants since then, this is HANDS DOWN the best sushi quality this side of the Pacific Ocean.
We ordered delivery from this place on door dash. It took so long to make (1.5 hours) a driver cancelled on us. We ordered it at 4:20 and didn’t get it to our place until 6:00. Food was cold and average. Don’t recommend.
