Wonderful appetizers of a cheese plate and warm salad. Really enjoyed the mussels which had a delicious broth. The frites were too salty for my liking and I would have loved a few more slices of baguette which was perfect for the broth from the great mussels. Had a great grapefruit mocktail. Husband’s wine was good too. Patio was romantic and lovely but I had frozen toes by meals end. We were too full for dessert but would love to try the lemon tart or crème brûlée… so we know we’ll go back!

Absolutely amazing — every single dish we ordered was fantastic, including the ones we hadn’t considered but that our server, Marjorie, insisted we get to complement our other items. She was right too! Everything from the duck to the mussels to the squash salad, and of course, the quintessential escargot was perfectly cooked and delicious. The cocktails were great, and the vibe is cozy and intimate. Highly recommend and will certainly dine here again!

It’s my friends birthday and we decided to come here to celebrate her special day. It was our first time and to be honest it was one of our best food experience. The vibe of the restaurant was very Parisian. We were served by Caroline and she really outdid herself. She was incredible at her job. She was really patient explaining Every part of the menu as it was our first time here and most of the menu was pretty new to us. The food was really amazing! The Portion, the price and everything was great. I highly recommend this place for date nights!

I came to La Petit Iza for dinner after stopping by other places in the area for years. The restaurant is located on the third floor, and the kitchen and washroom is on the second floor. The setup and decor gave me the impression of a cute European/French cafe and it was quite laid back. The view outside/balcony was really nice and would complete the experience. Note that their tables inside were definitely on the smaller side. Service was good as the server was descriptive about the menu and stopped by several times throughout the meal. In terms of food, I tried their Escargot (Snails with Persillade), Foie Gras Parfait, Parisian Gnocchi, and Duck Confit. The escargot was good as it was meaty and the parsley and butter made it quite tasty while not overwhelming. The foie gras was pretty good. It felt quite hearty and meaty on its own, so it was good there were baguettes as well as greens and cherries that accompanied it. The cherries were a decent surprise. The gnocchi was slightly altered for the summer, with zucchini, asparagus, and butter lime sauce, versus what was listed on the original menu. The gnocchi itself was quite soft, soft, and felt puffy, which was different from the more dense Italian kind. It was fairly buttery so the sauce went well with it. The change for the season was refreshing for the summer. The duck confit was really good. The meat fell apart, the skin didn't feel fatty, there was the right amount of flavour and it went well with the sauce, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. One thing to note is that both entrees felt a bit too buttery/heavy near the end, but that may be because I didn't get a drink - If accompanied by wine, I think it would be a great balance. Overall, I’d give the experience 8.5/10

One of my favorites in Edmonton. Great ambience and delicious food. Expensive but totally worth the experience. The Coquille Jaques is probably one of my favorite appetizers ever.Would highly recommend the Bouillabaisse and the escargots as well!

We’ve been wanting to go here ever since it opened, and just recently managed to do so. Everything we had was mouth-watering! The service was equally great and very attentive to our dining experience. The place itself is very cozy and it was great to eat all this delicious food by candlelight. We will definitely recommend this place and be back again soon!

Seating on the patio for an afternoon tea on a sunny, warm afternoon is highly recommended. It’s a wonderful experience to watch the sun sink with a soft breeze. The environment is quite elegant with excellent views from the windows. The service was very attentive, they could answer any questions about the menu and were happy to help in any way they could. There are a lot of classic French dishes that are excellent from taste to display. The cheese plate changes according to the season and it's a different surprise every time I go. When ordering you can ask about today's cheese variety to make sure you like it. Great date spot!
