Food was not as good as competitors. Pad Thai was unwelcoming. Did not taste authentic and was too sweet.

I got delivery from LOFT Thai Eatery a while back. I tried their Tom Kha Gai, Braised Duck Confit Curry, and Thai Green Curry with coconut rice. The Tom Kha Gai was quite good and definitely worth the value. The braised duck also stood out: the meat tasted like it was marinated before (perhaps in salt water) to give it a bit more of a firmness and flavour and the curry complemented it well. This texture and flavour is less common in Edmonton from my experience so it’s worth a try. The Thai Green Curry and the coconut rice was quite bland though…so I’d rate them 7.8/10

Very misleading images make it seem like a high end restaurant but it's just a to go place with basic food.

This was absolutely the worst take out I have ever had. Overcooked vegetables, Mushy rice, tasteless chicken in something I thought was going to be so good. Thai Basil Pesto. Pad Tai horrible. The flatbread was tasteless and cheese not even melted. The only redeeming thing about this very pricey meal was the spring rolls. Crunchy and decent. Portions very small for the price. So disappointed to want to try a new local restaurant Never again.

Ordered spicy red curry and received something so bland that water has a higher scoville level. It brings dishonor to thai cooking.

This is a great little spot for Thai food. We enjoyed our food so much. A very clean restaurant and friendly service. The peanut curry sauce that came with our appetizer was magical.

Got the red Thai chicken curry to go. Took two bites and got a refund. The chicken was over cooked and rubbery but the vegetables were not even cooked and layer of grease coated the whole thing literally a quarter inch thick. Looks like a nice place and the hostess was nice. But as far as I can tell terrible food.

This time not so good. The curry pesto has no curry and no pesto taste to it. Just some heat. Hummm...

Great authentic Thai ingredients and preparation. Presentation is nice, flavours are rich.Give it a try. Duck confit is a must!Place could use a little better work on the tables and utensils being sanitized and residue free.

I met up with a couple of friends at Loft Thai for dinner recently. None of us have been there before, but we heard it was very good and that it's quite small inside, so we made reservations. The restaurant has 6 tables inside and was very clean and tidy. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and offered up some suggestions for dishes to try.We started off with some spring rolls, which were quite delicious and perfectly cooked (there were 5 spring rolls in total). Two of us ordered the Pad Thai and the other ordered the Chicken Cashew Nut. We all enjoyed our meals, but also commented that it wasn't anything special. I know I've had better Pad Thai elsewhere, but this was still very delicious.I'd definitely return again to try some of their other dishes, like either the Thai Green Curry or the Thai Red Curry with their coconut rice, as well as the Zap wings which also sounded interesting.
