I took my girlfriends bike in last week for some work and was pleasantly surprised at how quick they were able to fix it. I thought I'd have to leave it there over the weekend but 10 maybe 15 minutes later it was fixed and I was on my way. I'd chosen this shop over others closer to me based on reviews I'd read, and I'm happy I let those reviews guide me here. The work being done on the bike was all explained to me as it was being done so I even gained some knowledge for some small fixes should they arise in the future. Really impressed with the shop and very knowledgeable staff and little Charlie was very friendly too. This will be my go to shop for anything bike related and particularly when my son gets his first bike!

I've been going to this place for my bike needs this year. I think its now called 'Old Strathcona Cycle'.I got a refurbished bike at this store, works great! Got a flat and brought my bike in, fixed pretty quick. Same with other bikes I've brought in, the breaks. The service is fast and friendly. Sound advice. I think its just a couple folks running the place. Both seem to really enjoy the work. Some things can be pricey but I kind of expect it. Bike I bought was more then reasonable though. I highly recommend this shop.

Just had a full tuneup with 2.5 hour turnaround. Was quite pleased, but wanted a little adjustment, which was done promptly. Was running through gears, and and snapped my rear axle. Brought it back and they were E able to quickly get me a new one installed.I am very happy with quick knowledgeable, and quality service. I will definitely be coming back next service.

Just picked up my bike am extremely satisfied with the service! They did an initial inspection explaining what they would be looking for and recommended what type of tune up I should go with.When I picked up, they went over it again and you can’t beat that 24/hr turnaround. I’ll be going back next season!

Unbelievable 24 hour repair service in these strange Covid times- where other shops have a 3-6 week turnaround time. Attention to detail and friendly customer service round up this Whyte avenue bike shop. Icing on the cake is the fresh roasted beans Mike uses in his splendid coffees.
