Just had an amazing experience at this OEB location. We had decided to stop by for breakfast. They were very accommodating seating our party of 4 without reservation. Once seated our waitress Avery was very prompt in getting our drinks. It was our first time at OEB so we were unsure what to order but Avery was very helpful proving us with excellent recommendations for food. I chose one of Avery’s recommendations the Croque Madame and it was fantastic. The food came out promptly and was very delicious. If you get a chance go to this location and have breakfast here. Finally I wanted to thank the cooks for making such great food and our waitress Avery for making our first experience amazing!

We happened to make reservations at the other location but didn’t realize, so when we got here and weren’t on the list, they could see we were flustered, they were very accommodating and understanding to the slight mix up and got us a table ready. My first time trying OEB and there was a great selection and it made it difficult to decide what I wanted, everything sounded amazing. I went with a fruit crepe with whipped cream and pistachios on top, I was glad I did.

A bright, fun spot with fresh, clean ingredients in both classic and creative menu items. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a cute vibe overall. It can feel a little crowded/loud as it’s a popular spot especially on weekends, though the overflow space helps address that.

I actually first visited OEB in Calgary, prior to them opening in Edmonton so I was quite pleased when I heard Edmonton was getting one... and then two and threeThere are currently three locations in Edmonton. One on 100a ave, near city centre, one on 124st and one in the south. I haven't been to the one in the south though. I usually visit the 124st one and I, personally, like it better because of the parking. I find the one by city centre to be atrocious for parking whereas there are more options near 124st.The menu at OEB is pretty big and there is something for everyone. They have basic "farmers" breakfasts, more "hipster" like dishes and then their own delicious creations so there really is something for probably everyone. It's really too hard to describe any particular dish or to generalize the options. OEB is probably one of my go to breakfast/brunch establishments and I have had some dishes that I definitely loved more than others. For example, I found their banana cream pie French toast to be too sweet and over the top (still good but just too much for me) but I really love their duck perogies and their lobster scramble poutine.Service has always been pleasant and quick. The staff there are friendly and do a great job of checking on you regularly. The establishment is brightly lit with natural lighting. There are normal tables, bar seating, tabletop seating, a patio in the summer and, on the weekends, they open up the restaurant into the open foyer on the adjoining side.I think it's probably also notable to state that OEB can be a bit more expensive compared to somewhere like Ricky's or other more typical breakfast places. Most dishes are probably around the $20 mark, if not more, and a standard cup of coffee is $4. In addition, there can also be extra charges for simple things such as syrup ($2.50) if you want it for a French toast or sweet breakfast option but it doesn't come with it.Overall, I do enjoy going to OEB for a special brunch/breakfast but just know that you will probably spend more than some other places.

Everything on the menu is very delicious. I would recommend before going to check social networks to give yourself a visual example of what you want to order, since they have many options and at least in my experience it has been easier that way. The food is delicious, I don't love the coffee, I think they use a very dark roast that tastes burnt. My husband loves Latin-style micheladas. Make a reservation they are always pretty busy!

Second time visiting this restaurant and it was great again. We did not have a reservation but were seated right away. However, a reservation is suggested. The ambience is modern, and I would say in minimalistic style. The coffee (including decaf) had a touch of European flavour and was tasty. We ordered ‘The Laks’ (salmon omelet) and 'Canadian Lobster & Shrimp’. The latter had a nice creamy texture to it and flavourful. The Laks had a beautiful presentation, and the salmon, herbs and eggs created a savoury combination. A bonus was the option to have a croissant instead of the usual toast. The only improvement would be to have the coffee refilled a bit more regularly but that could have been a one-off. This restaurant is a bit pricy but the huge selection of unique dishes, the flavours and the friendly service are well worth the cost.My Rating: '4 Stars' = Very Good, '5 Stars' = Way Above Expectations

This was my second visit to this location. First time great, this time was absolutely horrible. Was seated by our hostess, and browsed the menu for 5-7 minutes. Proceeded to wait another 10 plus minutes without Amy sort of acknowledgement from any staff. Not even for drinks. In the meantime other customers entered, were seated after we had arrived, served drinks, and placed an order for food, with us still not even being helped or acknowledged. me and my girlfriend finally decided to go somewhere that might actually appreciate our business. Left feeling very frustrated I took time, effort, and energy out of my day for this. Hope the next person has a better experience than we did. I for one will never be visiting or supporting this location or establishment ever again.

It's beautiful, staff and great and the food delicious. It's just a little bit too busy for me to enjoy. If you're not deterred by popular busy places this is worth your time.

What a gem. First time here and will for sure come back. Super accommodating and our server Taylor was so delightful! She answered all our questions and helped with some suggestions. I got the hollandaise sauce on the side because I usually never like it but let me tell you how I wanted more lol Extremely satisfied and then some. Highly recommend this spot.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here!! The restaurant was very clean; the decor is fun and bright, great menu...it's hard to choose!! Our server Beth was friendly, helpful and attentive: Food service was quick and everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty!! A refreshing change from the ordinary!!

Menu has a lot of selection, including gluten free options. For breakfast definitely a top 5 in Edmonton.

Met a bunch of girlfriends at OEB for weekend brunch. We didn't think ahead to making reservations so there was a bit of a wait at 10:30AM on a Sunday. We were then given a table in the overflow section where the chairs were quite uncomfortable. Due to the full house, noise level was also very loud.Menu is quite extensive with plenty of selections for everyone, and some with fun names. Our food took some time, understandable considering how busy it was but when it was served, the presentation looked rather "messy" and served warm, not hot. Despite that, we all concur that brunch was rather delicious.Definitely worth a try and a great place to brunch with friends or family.
