I love the sawmill, always have. I don’t come here expecting majorly exquisite food, but I do expect great tasting food for what I’m paying. My experience today was very enjoyable as the servers were attentive and friendly; giving us a quick rundown of what the buffet served today. My only inhibition is that it’s typical buffet food; nothing special. The breakfast portion was great, hashbrowns were especially crispy and well seasoned.I didn’t like that our party of eight was sat in a room with 3 tables of other larger parties, not much elbow room. 2-stars for atmosphere because of that, and because the bar TV’s are blaring MMA, the waitresses are provocatively dressed, and because they advertise their strip club right when you walk in. Not very child-friendly in that sense.

A definite, repeat ... What a fantastic night! friends,food and laughter, doesn't get much better. Entertainment , couldn't stop laughing. A nice a cosy venue. Food was great and served hot ? well done!!

We had a large group. It started out as 28 and doubled to 48. They were able to accommodate us by dividing us into 2 private rooms. The food was great and Steve and Sanjay were very organized and did a fantastic job making sure everyone was taken care of.

Awesome night out for a business dinner. Booked one of the private dining rooms (the High Steaks room) and it worked perfectly. Food was great, beer was cold and or server, Steve, and his helper were excellent. Would recommend for sure!

That was an awesome experience! Work dinner with some key, international leaders of our company. We reserved the ‘High Steaks’ private dining room. Food was really good, drinks were perfect and being able to have a private dining room for a business dinner was fantastic (not many places in Edmonton that you can get a private dining room).It was a last minute reservation but Pavan made it easy.But the best part was our servers. The main guy who took care of us was Steve, might be the best server I’ve had in Edmonton in a long time. If you’ve ever been to an old school steakhouse in a city like Chicago and the servers are friggen awesome, that’s Steve!Thanks, Sawmill! We will be back for more business dinners (and probably a date nite or two as well ?)

Sunday brunch was delicious and the price was great! It's such a deal for what you get!
If I could give a 6 stars on service I would. Ask for Steve. I might bring back my staff so they can understand the nuance of service really looks like at high levels.Food was top notch and priced fairly considering you could go across the street to Boston Pizza pay $2 less and get quality worth way less.Atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. All in all best meal and service I've had in a while.Finally I know it can be!

Went with my family on a Saturday afternoon for a quiet lunch, great place to sit a visit, service was top notch, the prime was horrible ( stringy and difficult to cut with a steak knife) we did bring it up with the manager, we did not ask for a discount we just wanted the meal to be better for the next
