I always go to the lounge because of the best bartender Melvin. But the other guy Alex is not very nice because one time when i was coming back from the washroom, i heared him talking to other patrons and saying bad things about me, even tho he dont even know me and i hear lots of negative comets about tjat guy hopfully manegment will do something about it

The food was the only positive part of our trip to Smitty’s this afternoon. The server started off friendly but became visibly frustrated and rude to our whole table. When it was time to pay we let her know we need separate bills and she was visibly upset and frustrated, no longer friendly at all. After waiting a while for the bills the server aggressively threw the debit machine on the table when it was my turn to pay and refused to give anyone paying cash exact change back, claiming they don’t carry nickels or dimes in the whole restaurant. When I asked specifically for the change back she got very aggressive with me and made a scene in front of the whole restaurant. First place I have ever been that will take your money and claim they “don’t have change” to balance it out. Will not be back, would not recommend.

We were there for breakfast Friday January 19, 2024. Food and service was excellent, as usual.The server always greats us with a smile and a big welcome. Coffee and water was quick to arrive at our table and our order taken. The food arrived quickly and was exactly as ordered. The cinnamon swirl pancakes are delicious and something I tell others to try. My wife's meat lovers skillet was delicious as well.The manager came by our table and checked in to say hello see how our meal was.Another great experience and we will return!
