The toys were really, REALLY dirty and falling apart. The playhouses were in terrible shape. Ordered a chai latte and it was watery and overpriced.I think this place has potential but it needs to be kept in better shape and have regular maintenance. The employees were not very friendly as previous reviewers mentioned.Entry fee is $9.25 per hour.

Great playhouse! The prices to come in are good and I love that you book a spot so it’s not super crowded. Lots of centres are more focused on older kids. This play place has so much for younger toddlers and it felt much safer for my 21 month olds. The baked goods prices were quite high for the portions you got, but the meal menu looked great. It also felt like they could have had more staff on. The single hostess/server seemed quite busy. At the end of our time slot they also just closed the doors to the back without explaining what was happening, essentially locking us back there. As someone who had never gone, it would’ve made sense if they explained that they closed the doors so they could clean and we were to go out the back door to leave. We will definitely be returning though, the kids had so much fun and it felt much less chaotic than a rec centre playground.

Such an excellent playhouse and cafe! My almost 4 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed her playtime. There's a good amount of toys and everything was very clean/well laid out. There were good food options too. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We checked the website to see if they are open, and it said they were. However, after driving 30mins to get there, the play area was "full" with only 2 children playing. The website does not mention that you need to book the play area in advance or that it is sometimes closed without notice on the weekend. Too confusing. We are very disappointed.EDIT: I appreciate responding, but if you don't have an easy way to tell people that you don't want kids to come, you will have this issue. We went to the treehouse and had a great time. There are things to be learned Sweat Pea

Very clean and organized place to let the kiddos roam and explore, and you can sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Also has an amazing little cafe with delicious snacks!

Great business model. I dropped by because of my curiosity. Not sure if the staff is really trained with making good beverages. The drink I had I spent over $5 and it’s an average drink and I wish I had visited Second Cup.Cute place and good option for vegan community.

Adorable children's play cafe. It has two separated sides. The cafe part is more adult oriented, whereas the play side is exactly what it sounds like. They've put so much effort and care into creating it. Lots of toys, and the themed buildings are so much fun.

The kitchen staff attitude at this restaurant is horrible. We walked in just after 5:30 ordered our food took us a minute or two to figure out what we wanted and we’re kind of excited to get something here since we are vegan. We then proceeded to wait I even gave a decent tip in cash. All of a sudden, when the cashier handed the receipt to the chef in the kitchen, she said, where did this come from? Do you not see what time it is? Her attitude towards the cashier was absolutely horrendous. She then huff and puffed, and was all grumpy about having to make an order. I proceeded to ask for my money back and told her to cancel my order.Number one, you should not talk that way to your staff, especially in front of customers and especially in front of the customer that just ordered. No staff deserves to be treated that way so I will take my money and my business elsewhere from here on.They did offer to make the food for me, but I was worried that they were going to spit in it so I choose to have my money back and take it to a business that actually deserves my money and actually wants my money.Number two, Even though their hours are stated online as closing at six they said that their kitchen closed at 5:30. Nowhere is that stated, and they should change their hours. If the kitchen was closed, they should’ve told us that right when we walked in the door instead of acting the way that they did. Businesses like this need to treat their staff and customers better if they want to stay in business.

There were two VERY SKINNY gorillas when I went here, and I had to sit in a chair, bored out of my mind, and watch them fight, bugged up with the schlizor. Best ever. 10/10

The Sweet Pea has a cute play area, modelled after some old buildings. Thankfully the keep the numbers down in this area, because it isn't that large. All interactions with staff were very pleasant. Our group of 6 (4-adults + 2-young kids) had a nice table for us. But the other group was quite large, utilizing several tables end-to-end. Because the dining area isn't very large, it was like walking through an obstacle course, to get the cutlery & napkins when your food orders arrived at your table.Speaking of food...this is totally vegan food options. While I enjoy a pulled pork sandwich, the Jackfruit option was okay...but it lacked the flavor of the real-deal. The cheese on nan-bread sandwich was good. The Quesada my wife ordered was about 5-6 inches around. It seemed like a small kids meal.Walking to the Cafe side, I picked up a 500ml fruit drink in a square glass bottle. I was immediately informed, there was a $2.00 deposit!!! When expressing my surprise at that cost, the BIG shock was still coming. They wanted $13.50 for the 1-drink. Putting it back in the cooler, I opted for the $2.50 can of San Pellegrino instead.Yes, we all enjoyed the play area with our grandkids. Having said that, I'm uncertain ALL customers enjoy the total vegan offerings. In many restaurants, there are vegan & GF options available. But the final decision is up to the ownership/management group on these food options. From my viewpoint, I'm uncertain if a 2nd visit is in my future. For $13.50, I could definitely purchase a better beverage, and enjoy a couple of glasses with my wife.

Kids loved the play experience here!Set up as a "old fashioned street front" the kids are able to play in the shops. There is a very cute little coffee shop in the back of the store for parents to be able to sit down for a bit.

I’ll start off by saying, my toddler had a really fun time, so I’m glad for that. But as a parent, I don’t plan on coming back and spending my money here. The idea is great, but it’s executed so poorly. The whole place is just way too tiny. There’s a tiny space at the front for your shoes, no where to hang coats or car seats etc. So tight, crowded and awkward. The actual play place room is cute, but again really small and crowded, even with the limits on number of people allowed it, we felt way to crowded and chaotic while there. Only one couch for parents to sit on. Their chairs actually have “seating only for kids” written on them which comes across as really rude. It’s actually ridiculous that they charge admission for the adults too, when it’s clearly a place only for young kids. They also charge for young babies which is such a joke. They can barely sit or crawl, let alone play with anything… Most other places don’t start charging until the age of 1 or 2. The price is ridiculous for only 90 mins of play time, I can’t justify $20 for myself, husband and toddler. All other indoor playgrounds only charge for the childThe cafe side is also so tight and crowded feeling. You can’t sit and eat without people in line bumping into you or your table. The food is insanely priced and barely edible. The menu is ONLY gluten free, plant based and dairy feee options, so great if that’s what you like but we thought it was nasty. Even the cookies didn’t taste good. Don’t understand why there’s not a few “meat” options. Almost all other normal restaurants have a few vegetarian/vegan options. Why wouldn’t a vegan restaurant offer a few “meat options”?All in all we were rather disappointed with our visit. $60 for admission and terrible food is definitely not in our budget. Glad our toddler enjoyed the play area, but will choose more budget friendly options from now on
