Northern, Central or Satay all of their Pho noodle soups are epic. Our food was prepared super fast and it was fantastic. They always have quality food and friendly staff.

The spicy beef satay soup is all you need to know and have at this place- to DIE for! Be prepared for how spicy it can be though - if you can’t do very spicy, ask for a mild version of it!Sadly this resto is not open very late - I’d come here more often for dinner if it was! But can also understand that it’s just as good for lunch. Amazing staff and service here too - certainly one of the best restaurants in Edmonton for all occasions!

My friend informed me that this restaurant has been here since he was a kid. We showed up at 1:30 pm, after the lunch rush.I ordered a vermicelli bowl with beef and pork, but I advised the waitress I didn't want the shrimp. This seemed to fluster her as she struggled to get the order right. When my food arrived, I had 2 orders, 1 with shrimp and 1 without.Vermicelli bowls are fairly standard for a Vietnamese restaurant, so this should be great food. There was an overwhelming odor of fish with my food. I didn't order fish, and neither did my friend. Unfortunately, it's hard to taste anything else but fish - disappointing.

Best Vietnamese food in the City.**Update** years later, still the best Vietnamese food in Edmonton. Yang Chow Fried Rice never disappoints. The Spicy Szechuan Chicken is always tender with a balanced sweet heat. The special vermicelli is always a hit.

Amazing food! Had the bun bo hue (central Vietnamese soup). Order that everytime I go for Vietnamese. This one was a little different than most but so spicy and so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. Lots of meat and they give you lots of sprouts and basil on the side. Going back so my husband and daughter can try it

I saw some recommendations abut satay pho, but it’s the Worst Vietnamese pho I’ve ever had, too much msg and salty, can’t eat it.

The food is fantastic and never disappoints. We live out of town and can’t wait to go to Thanh Thanh when we visit Edmonton. Your order is guaranteed to be hot, fresh, and 100% correct every time! If you haven’t eaten here you are missing out!

I just had the beef satay soup, and it has to be the worst I've tried in this city. I've been looking for the best and I heard and read good things....this is just awful. Too rich, thick, had an odd taste I cant put my finger on...and the beef is gross. Ordered from skip and it's nice and hot, but the soup itself is inedible . Neither my boyfriend or I can eat it....what a waste of a Friday treat. We literally threw it out :(
