I mean, what can I say. We went for the buffet, my extended family of 14. The decor is pretty over the top & in your face but at the same time... eclectic and well done. All the kids (7) had a blast and the owner came to our table repeatedly to say hello, take any feedback & to bring this and that for the kids to eat/drink/enjoy.The food was good. Just what you'd expect it to be for a buffet catered towards the kind of people who don't want to venture deeper into Chinatown

Never order from this place! Order was an hour late. Called the restaurant and told can't help you and then hung up on me. Not acceptable!

Excellent tasty food in large portions at reasonable price. Thumbs up to the oldest Chinese restaurant in Edmonton.Revisited after about a year. The restaurant was packed but service was quick. The owner has always come around to the tables to greet the customers and offered free pop to the children. Prices haven't increased by much however the serving size has decreased. Service was excellent as usual.Parking: Hard to find street parking especially on oiler game days because of the proximity to Rogers Place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lingnan, a Chinese restaurant in Edmonton, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. My visit coincided with their weekend buffet, and I was thoroughly impressed by the vast selection of dishes available. From traditional favorites to modern twists, there was something for everyone. The service at Lingnan was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. But what truly stole the show was the taste of the food. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. From the first bite to the last, I savored every moment. After my visit, I can confidently say that Lingnan is likely the best Chinese restaurant in Edmonton. If you're craving delicious Chinese cuisine served with exceptional service, look no further than Lingnan.

We ordered several dishes though Skip. Lingnan fried rice, ginger beef, lemon chicken, mixed stir Fry vegetables and Vietnamese spring rolls. The fried rice had a little bit of everything in it, the portion was large and all round quite good. The ginger beef was slightly over cooked but had good flavor with a hind of spice. The portion size was a little on the smaller size for the price. The lemon chicken was quite poor. The chicken was so thin that by the time it was cooked it resembled the texture of jerky. The batter could literally have the greese wrung out of it. I would not recommend this dish. The stir fry vegetables were m'eh. Not fully cooked and the sauce was a different flavour to it.The spring rolls were pretty good. By the time they got to us they had lost their crunch, but still were ok.Overall. I wouldn't order delivery again, given there so many different places to chose from in Edmonton, I would either try a different one or try it again as a sit down meal.
