We heard about this restaurant in the news article about Ramneek Singh and his search for the best butter chicken in Edmonton. Thank you to Happy and the rest of the crew, Masala Tree was spectacular. Along with the delicious butter chicken, we had the Veg Korma - probably the best we’ve ever had - as well as the Paneer Khadai. We live about 45 minutes away but will make a trip back and recommend Masala Tree to everyone!Vegetarian options: Lots of choice and delicious!

Tried this place at my buddy Ram's suggestion, starting with Veggie Samosas, and opting for the Extra Hot Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan, Saffron Rice and Mango Lassi. Happy was an excellent host, great hospitality and a good sense of humor. Will definitely be back to try the Gulab Jamun and Chai (but I'll go with the Hot butter chicken instead; the experience humbled me and I'm too white for the Extra ?)

My wife and I (Jay and Moira) went to this restaurant after hearing about it from Rams on the radio and the review he gave. We went and it was a fantastic, an awesome experience. "Happy" the manager was great and extremely helpful and answered all our questions we had. A great host. The food was by far the best indian we have ever had. It was delicious. Lots of left overs, and overall a super experience. We already sent our friends the name and address and will be bringing them when we go back, which we plan to very soon. Overall a super fantastic dining experience. Thank you "Happy" and Masala Tree staff!!
