Hooooooly cow! Stopped in here for dinner on a Friday and it was surprisingly dead. They were only sold out of one item (I assume from lunch rush). The portions, the flavour explosions. Absolutely phenominal. Tried nine dishes, and there was definitely enough for two meals out of each three item container.

My son and I visited downtown Tiffin restaurant last Wednesday, March 6th, we were very well taken care of by all the staff on duty, there were 3 by the names Suman, Suraj and another polite well mannered young man helped us to choose the items we like. We found them to be very knowledgeable of their menu items, well spoken with excellent listening skills. The atmosphere was very peaceful and clean inside. The washrooms were equally clean, they provided us with the code number to open the washrooms. The high ceilings of this restaurant, the big windows bringing in sunlight, the happy cooks, and cheerful cashiers made this restaurant a very pleasant place to sit and dine peacefully. They have a wide selection of items on their menu.I highly recommend anyone who loves East Indian cuisine must make an attempt to do skip the dishes , door dash or delivery by Uber, I assure you will be pleasantly surprised or visit the restaurant in person. Wishing the owners and the staff at the Tiffin restaurant the best in 2024 and years to follow.

The food is relatively on par with the price point, selection, and convenience. I would go back and try other things, however I’ve definitely had better at more sit-down style restaurants. Consistent with other reviews, the depth of flavor and spice is certainly mild compared to traditional Indian food at other establishments - know this going in or you may be disappointed (also noting I didn’t order any spicy dishes). The garlic naan was very fresh and good, and out of the curries I tried (beef korma, coconut curry vegetables, and red pepper curry paneer) the beef korma was my favorite as it was more savoury and I found the other sauces to be on the sweeter side. I had a coconut chai tea as well and really didn’t taste any chai which was surprising for such a dominant flavour - wouldn’t get that again.

Excellent food, the butter chicken was amazing and something new I tried was Chilli paneer, (some kind of fried cheese) all of it was excellent and the portions generous.

We came all the way from south side to this location on christmas day bcoz google map said its open. All other location were showing closed but only this one said open so we came here only to be disappointed. Please try not miscommunicate as it causes a lot of inconvenience to people. This is really disgusting.

Not the best or the worst Indian food I have ever had. All in all good quality and good portion sizes for the price.

Ordered the tiffin 3 food was atrocious. Bland and tasteless food. Mango Lassi had no taste and nothing was good except for the side of rice. Skip this place if you want to have authentic Indian food.

Nellie a senior was given excellent customer service by the staff yesterday downtown location, Jasper avenue. One young person by the name Suraj, a long term employee gave me tips how to choose the dishes that meet my need. I found him to be very kind, respectable, knowledgeable with good listening skills. All Tiffin's staff members are hardworking and walking extra miles to give the best service to their customers. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, with a very spacious seating area and high ceilings. The lighting is superb. The items on their menu are not only delicious but offer vegetarian/non vegetarian options. Once you visit this restaurant you will continue to eat out or do take out to meet your palate. It is worth your time and money to enjoy the different yummy dishes.

Tried samosa chat today. It was not fresh, no green or red sauce. Lacked flavors. My friend tried Chana bature. Buture smelled like they were fried in non-veg oil where they fry chicken.I won't be getting these two dishes ever from this place. slow customer service but many people are seen there behind the counters.
