This place has amazing owners and great fresh Japanese food! I like coming here for the raw Tuna poke bowl, salmon bento, and tuna or salmon sashimi amongst other things. Prices are fair and well worth supporting a local business over any of the chain restaurants around. I come often now that I work nearby and will be back soon!
Went there for lunch on March 4, 2024. Tried the crispy, spicy salmon poke bowl (not having read all the great reviews about it here). It was sooo good!!! Can’t wait to go back to try more stuff on their menu.

First time here, Tempura was golden, not greasy, and we got large pieces of vegetables and the shrimp were quite big too. Sushi was the perfect size to eat in one bite. Flavours were fantastic. The owners were friendly and greater us with huge smiles. Can’t wait to come back!

Came in for a "non fast food lunch" and had the Salmon Bento with Option A (California rolls and tempura). Salmon was nice, and a bit juicier than I am accustomed to. Pretty sure it was cooked enough, but I prefer it a little drier. Batter was a nice golden crispy color and that part was it's redemption. Tempura was a bit darker than typical - it was dry, light and crispy with no excessive grease. The veggies were a bit on the "el-dente" side but I would not call them undercooked. Over-all, the food is a solid four which is a high ranking for a restaurant of this type. The owner (seemed to be the owner) told the staff not to put my order behind the call-in which had a delivery driver en-route. HUGE props for this. SO sick of places that have a "takeaway orders have priority" policy at the expense of dine-in customers. Overall, the service here is a five. So 4 for the food + 5 for service is a 4.5 that rounds up to a 5. Well done. See you again soon. :-)

Popped in here on a lark tonight as if was close to our hotel. I asked for a recommendation for spicy and crunchy Maki. The Mexican did not disappoint! My husband also raved about his teriyaki beef. Ready in ten mins or so too. We'll be back next time we're in town!
Today's mission was simple; eat for under $10. I got the steamed rice, miso soup and two spring rolls for just over $9. It was delicious, I will be back.

Highly recommend. Very friendly staff, very good food. More expensive than general takeout, or certainly fast food but very good value and I’m already planning to return and try more.I recommend the Salmon Nigiri, as well as the Bento for first time visitors to try a number of different items.Parking: There is a large parking lot, however spaces close to the entrance can be difficult to find during peak lunch hours.

Just finished our lunch here, we had the tataki beef, salmon Bento box, and the spicy roll combo. The food was excellent, and great value for the price. The owners are friendly and helpful. Quick service as well! We'll definitely be back, even though we live on the other end of the city. Very pleased to have found this place.
