Server was very helpful and eager to give us recommendations when we couldn’t decide. She was gracious enough to let me practice my (very bad) Spanish to order. Owner is a lovely individual, very kind and friendly to say hi to as many customers as possible even though he was busy. The food itself was hearty and super tasty, there are so many options for arepas but you truly cannot go wrong with the flavour combinations.
Everyone loved the food. Venezuelan food is new to us, yet it was still delicious comfort food.We will be back and recommend that you go too.

Good quality, flavorful meal. The food was very solid and there were lots of appealing options on the menu. Not the best arepas I’ve ever had and definitely pricier than I expected, but good overall. When we came we were one of two diners, but it took a while to be able to pay and leave after our meal.

Great dining experience, love the flavour combos they got, and they stay true to their heritage, really letting you experience their culture through food.

This place has been on my list to visit for quite a while. It's not at all what I was expecting, but not necessarily a disappointment. The 3 stars are for the lack of service and pricing. The food itself was quite good.I ordered the Pabellón Arepa, which I was told was one of their signature items:ABELLÓN - pulled beef, black beans, fried plantain, and feta cheese. $19Make it vegetarian + 1.5Make it vegan +1.5I also ordered a beer - imported Polar Pilsner. It was good, but not $10.50 good.Total came to $29.50 before tip.Firstly, the pulled beef was so tender. Full of flavour. However, it was all piled on the top, so the second half of the arepa was mostly just black beans sandwiched between corn bread. My problem with it, though, was that I was expecting a lot more food considering the $19 price point. It was served wrapped, put in a small soup bowl (pictured). I would have expected this to be in the $10-12 range. If I knew how small this was going to be, I would have ordered something else. I had looked over the menu in advance but because I wasn't familiar with the cusine, I asked the server and this was what he recommended. I feel a bit swindled, as it ended up being the most expensive arepa flavour on the menu. (The rest are still in the $18 +/- $1 range though).Great option for gluten free dining, as most of the food seems to be rice or corn based, and a lot of plantain. Vegan and vegetarian options are well labeled on the menu.Regarding service, there wasn't much to speak of. When the server came around, he was nice enough, but he wasn't attentive by any means. When I walked in, I was the only person in the restaurant, and it took a good 5 minutes for them to bring me water and another 7-8 to come ask what I wanted.

Service was slow but the food was worth the wait.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free options available.
The food… just okay. The customer service… virtually non existent. The empanadas were good but greasy and the meat in the arepas were really lacking in seasoning or flavour. There appeared to be two persons working and very few people in the dining room but the service was extremely slow. Took almost 45 minutes from sitting down until food arrived.Nothing special.
Really good quality of food. The food was amazing, and the passion fruit juice uff is so good.Nice staff, but we have to wait a lot for the food. Maybe they have short staff.

I am not the best judge of Venezuelan food. That said, the food was fine, albeit quite salty. The drink was way too sweet and i was diluting it with water.

What a find! I was looking for something new around Whyte Ave. I haven't been there for quite a while and hence I am not aware of the new changes. I came across this Venezuelan restaurant on the map. I love south american food and I didn't think twice before deciding on this. I went there with two of my friends and none of them have had south american food before. The place looked quite decent and homely. It felt like a family run business. To be honest I am not sure if it is. The gentleman who took the orders was extremely friendly. He patiently explained to us what is what and answered all our questions. The food arrived on time and was simply delicious. I loved every bit of it. Even my friends who haven't had south american food before loved the food. They even told me that now they have a new place to get food from. They live close by. I highly recommend this place and I will be back here soon.
Hands down my favourite place in town, the food is delicious and the owner is always super friendly. The fried plantain and the pabellon is my go to.

I know that all people should have opportunities, but it would be good to have Spanish-speaking people for better communication with people like me who still do not speak English, but it is worth noting that the girl tried very hard for me to understand her hahaha I ended up talking to her through the translator on my phone. It was a nice experience, the place was very nice and quiet. Very delicious food, we will return.
