We have always had a great experience at this restaurant, but last night's service was the worst thus far. We were not offered a drink menu and when my son ordered a drink, she ID'd him. It was his 18th birthday that day, no Happy Birthday or anything from the server. We asked for “tall” drinks and when they came it was a short glass with 3/4 ice. We were never given water and when my husband asked, only he was brought water. We son was never offered the free dessert, even after asking him for ID and seeing it was his birthday. With dinner and drinks for 3 of us for $250, we felt like we were rushed out of there in under an hour. Definitely not the best experience for my son on a milestone birthday of becoming an adult. Will go elsewhere in the near future which is sad, as we have always enjoyed this restaurant.

Food was delicious, honestly its the only restaurant we enjoy in Fort Mac that seems to worth the money. My salmon was the best I have had in a long time and the rib steak was perfect

I’ve always enjoyed The keg restaurants for their steaks and although I’ve eaten at several locations, I hadn’t been to the Fort McMurray location since before Covid.I ordered a garden salad and a medium well sirloin.Can’t go wrong on a salad ?, especially with the dressing on the side but I was wrong. The salad was so cold that I had to wait 5-7 minutes to get the chill off of it . I’m sure it didn’t come out of the freezer but the cooler must have been at a very low temperature.I was looking forward to the steak but it was very well done (no small trace or hint of pink here) and the side veggies and garlic mash were lukewarm at best. They were either not warmed up enough or had been sitting on a counter shelf until the steak was cooked or the server picked up the order.It was Valentines day and the last hour before closing but when you're paying a high price for a steak dinner , you expect more. I was dissapointed in the meal.Several days later, i ate at another restaurant, an although not a steakhouse, the steak i ordered was way better than my experience at the Keg … and at a much lower cost .

Steaks were not cooked. Server had an attitude. Had to send steaks back, rest of the food was cold, steaks came back well overcooked and they had them cut in half and gave us half of each other's steaks. Was not a good experience.

We were there for a special occasion, was noted with server and our reservation, and we felt pushed in and pushed out. Didn't even get two bites in of our appetizer before the steaks were brought out. Server said she can't control how quick the kitchen puts out the food... then didn't come back until the end of the meal. Steak was overcooked so must have been sitting on the line. Didn't even get a second round of our wine in... not wonderful for a $400 meal.

The food was very nicely cooked and presented. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I requested that flowers (that I provided) be on the table as a surprise for my lady - staff were most helpful
It was my first experience having dinner at the KEG and it was so wonderful I will definitely be back ❤️ thank you to the chef ?? and the staff your food and service was amazing.

The service was amazing... Such polite and helpful staff...I had steak and lobster... The steak was really tender, the lobster was okay... I'm from the east coast so it doesn't measure up to what I'm accustomed to but I still enjoyed it. For a drink I had a peach Bellini they never disappoint. Paper straws need to go... That's non negotiable... To remedy the soggy straw issue the waiter gave me a few extras so I could get through my drink without much trouble.Parking: Parking lot is now a one way with a light as this restaurant also is sharing a hotel within the building.

Took my wife out for her Birthday and she wasn't disappointed! Staff at the Keg has always been great especially our waiter( whose name I can't remember) who was very friendly and never left us waiting. The appetizers and meal were delicious and well done.
