April 12, 2024.Our service was mediocre at best, with more than a half an hour wait for drinks to show up after ordering. Our food showed up soon after our drinks did and was the worst frozen burger (I won't say meat) we've ever had. The beef brisket sandwich meat was worse than the cheapest deli beef on the market. The best item out of the 3 adult meals and 1 child meal we tasted was the children's ribs and Fry's. We were charged full price for everything even though we complained and didn't even eat half of the meals. The kitchen manager told us that non of the meat we ordered was made in house. We will NEVER be back to this restaurant.

The worst dining experience we’ve experienced at a Montana’s - Fort Saskatchewan location.Party of 4, 2 adults, 2 pre-teens.Requested a booth as it was pretty quiet in the main dining room early Thursday night, and we could see multiple booths available, were told we could be seated around the corner under the stairwell.When asked if the booths on the other side in the main dining room were reserved, we received no response from the hostess.We were seated under the stairs in the corner, only 3 tables in this area.Once seated my husband who is tall and slim commented on how tight the table was to the seat and asked if we could push back the bench or sit elsewhere, we were told it’s bolted to the floor & wall and she walked away…ok…Our server came to our table, we ordered our drinks, server returned within a few mins with them and we placed our order, during this time there was a group upstairs with youngsters/teens running up and down the stairs which was quite disruptive, nothing was done by staff to stop this, and they had little regard for other diners in the restaurant. Once the group left, what could only be described as a hurd of elephants erupted above us. We asked what the noise was and was told the staff was just putting the tables back in place from the group, and thought it would be over quickly.Caesar salad we ordered to share arrived, the salad was barely dressed and looked like it had seen better days, with rusted chunks of romaine, like it had been prepared earlier and refrigerated uncovered. Shortly after another server came with my husbands dinner, and we assumed the rest of our meals would follow as expected. Unfortunately not the case, over the course of 10-15 min the remaining meals arrived, one-by-one…My oldest daughter ordered the chicken fajitas, her tortillas & toppings came 15 mins apart from the sizzling chicken & vegetable plate. My youngest daughter and I ordered the same steak dinner and they arrived 10 mins apart from each other. Both steak dinners requested medium, mine was tough and over cooked, my daughters fries looked “old” and wrinkled - by that point we were frustrated and hungry. All the while if you can believe the disruption of tables and chairs being dragged and what seemed to be thrown around continued, frustrated my husband asked the server again, “What is going on?” The server just giggled and repeated what she said previously when asked what the noise was about. We honestly should have walked out and just left well before this point, I don’t know if it was just the frustration, disbelief and even almost embarrassment by the whole experience, but we sadly stayed.For a dinner coming in over $160, it was the absolute worst dinning experience our family has EVER had.

We showed up at about 430 pm with a reso. Got sat quickly, and hostess was super friendly we ordered water, and a appy which was fast, but after that it went down hill. We was constantly watching thr TV and talking to the one server, getting his attention took forever once our 2 other people showed up took half hour to order our food. And drinks were quite slow when asked for a ceaser and ice tea. I had the brisket burger which was pretty good the brisket was a bit chewy but still good. My husband had a steak. Wanted it medium rare, first time was more medium well so we had them remake it for it to come out more blue rare. I ordered desert for my father in law which was told it was free due to him turning 72 today. It was not and took half hour to get to him. At this point I was tired and just wanted to go home so just paid and left. Would come again for the food and hopefully service is better.

***Update***I was promised I would be contacted-as per an email received from Montanas but no one has contacted me in over 2 weeks similar to another reviewer here.Our server was unable to answer simple questions about the menu and fries for all meals that came to the table with fries were soggy and cold. Asked politely for new fries and were given burnt rock hard fries. When our meal was finished we let the server know that the fries were burned (it was obvious from just looking at them). No real apology and did not offer to comp anything from meal even though 2 meals were barely eaten because of the fries. Server just stated “she would let them know”. Very disappointing, with the price of everything these days spend your hard earned money at a business that actually cares.
