There was no wait time, they took us to our table immediately. The Manager helped get our order of drinks, and the hostess helped serve them. The waiter was very courteous and made sure we got our order in right away, and the food was very good.
I always love Smittys - their food is always good and I haven't found a bad one yet!!

Good afternoon to whoever may read this Email .My family and I had breakfast at your Grande Praire Alberta restaurant and I must say it was a most disappointing experience.We were there at approximately 1030 on a Thursday on Feb 15 2024.The waitress came and offered us menus and took our drink order...so far so good.We placed our food order when our drinks arrived a few minutes after that.after a LENGTHY 35 minutes later we received our food....this is where we had problems. We were fortunate to FINALLY receive our food in a short 35 minutes.During this time several tables sat and ate while we patiently waited for our food.My wife ordered bacon crisp....it was best described as being partially cooked on her plate(pig still attached).....my meat lovers skillet arrived(toast showed up about 5 minutes after my main dish)and my food was ice cold!!!!!!!It was at this point I decided to eat the toast, leave incredibly disgruntled WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN APOLOGY from your staff or management. And the fact I STILL left a tip after the waitress informed me when I refused a re-do on my food as I did not have the time her response was "we are busy" which shouldn't be in a customer service base industries vocabulary!!!!!So I can only say that my family and I returning will not happen.You need to improve this ......small restaurants have a tendency to not last long in GP Alberta......and they go down even faster when they are bad.I would give you NO STARS, but that wasn't an option.FOOD FOR THOUGHT...Russ Lupky

The food was good but we waited nearly an hour for the food.
The orange juice was the only good thing, anyways with that being said. We got eggs benedict and 2 eggs any style, both eggs were cooked improperly, Sausages almost tasted raw, and service wasn’t even the best, It wasn’t even busy maybe it’s because we got shoved in the corner…

Smittys Grande Prairie has improved immensely since the last smittys was here. The kitchen can be slow as hell but your server will take amazing care of you while you wait. The managers could do more than be in the way but otherwise smittys is a great restaurant. ?
