There’s not really any service it’s either you drive in or walk to the front to purchase so not much to say about that but the food was absolutely amazing, me and my dad got 2 milkshakes (pineapple and raspberry) 2 burgers (double mush with cheese) and a poutine. The burgers were pretty good but i’d say there’s better options, Still they tasted amazing. The milkshakes tasted amazing, I had the pineapple and i’d say it could’ve been a bit better if it was fresh pineapple as you could tell it was less flavoured as it was frozen, on the other hand my dads raspberry one tasted incredible with a strong flavour of raspberry. Not much to say for the poutine other than it’s the best poutine i’ve ever had in my life. Lots of parking, Only could see two benches so not a lot of seating, good prices for the size, would come again.

There's not much service so nothing to say about that as it's a drive in or you could walk out and sit at the bench on the front, burgers were good and i'd say i'd get them again. I ordered a mush burger double with cheese, poutine, and a pineapple shake. This poutine was the best i've ever had in my life. Big portion for the price and shake was alright but pineapple was originally frozen so not as much flavour but still good. Tried the raspberry shake my companion ordered and it was amazing. Overall i'd say its well priced and tastes amazing. Hoping to come back soon.

Things have not changed from my last post. We were here today! Best burger we have had in a very long time. Reminds us of a good Salisbury"nip" from Manitoba. So good. The french fries are a huge order for one person. Beef gravy was wonderful and those milkshakes, Omg! Thank you for the great service and the great food.That is why we are back!

So, I just had lunch at this place, and I have some thoughts to share.First, the service speed caught me off guard. It took a solid 10 minutes to get my burger, which seemed a bit longer than I'd expect for a burger joint. But the real kicker was when I finally tasted that burger – it was just...disgusting. Honestly, it tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer for ages and then reheated. Major letdown.Now, here's the one shining moment of the meal: the peanut butter milkshake. That thing was off the charts amazing! It almost made up for the burger disaster.But overall, given the disappointing burger experience, I can't see myself coming back here for another meal

I'll start with this place came highly recommended to me from locals.We ordered for the family, 2x cheeseburgers, 1 bag of fries and a hotdogs, 2 large shakes and 2 small.The shakes were delicious, if this was shakes alone, solid 5* for food.The burgers were not worth the money, I found them small, the buns were like wonder bread, and topping options of ketchup mustard relish and onions to not substantiate the price for less than a 1/4lb burger.Hot dog was decent size, split by two kids.Fries were nice and crisp on the outside, could have used salt.The staff had no enthusiasm at all, and did not seem to care at all, hence the lower review also.For $46 dollars, we will go elsewhere next time.Parking: Plenty of parking.

I have been eating at the Hitchin Post for 30 yrs and have never had bad food or service. Well today was the day 1st it took over 35 min to get our food. They were pretty busy, 35 mins is a bit much. Then they handed us our milk shakes melted, so I asked for new ones and the girl was very rude I said our food took over 35 mins and then you had us melted shakes, she’s says ya I’ve been working on your food. We drive away and eat our food. No napkins or ketchup in the bag and burnt pickles! To say the least extremely disappointed!
