I simply have to tell them how many people and our preferences, and they will prepare exactly what you want. Their menu is simply a suggestion, you can ask for anything (sushi, lol).It's a bit more expensive but you truly, absolutely get what you pay for.There are other sushi places in the area with high rankings but Sushi Land blows them out of the water.”

“Love Wishingtea, haven’t been back in since the addition of their food menu and it was AMAZING! Showed up shortly after they opened and was served our hot food and left in under an hour. Love their new cups and lids with their logos, seriously everything about this shop is photogenic including their claw machines and “wishing tree” must stop at! It’s hard to find really good fresh fruit teas sometimes and this place ROCKS for them! Staff is AMAZING! Their all so polite and personable.”

From the magnificent view to the delicious and thoughtful food combinations which are plated more like art than food (in a good way), to the excellent service (thank you Tyler), there is truly nothing I would improve about this experience. I should also mention that the portions were perfect - even the veg options leave you satisfied. I would highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There were options for vegetarians and vegans. I had the beet salad and the roasted parsnips. I am admittedly a big eater and I was left completely satisfied. Also their veg option wasn't a salad - it was also a well thought out meal which was really nice to experience.”

What surprised me the most while I was at the cafe was seeing the owner cleaning the inside of each washing machine. It's a hidden gem that doesn't get enough credit for how amazing it is. The owner, Mr. Oka, has been running his shop for over 25 years and you can truly feel that he has dedicated his life to making fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine.The salmon sashimi, tuna belly sashimi, octopus salad, spicy chop chop, and oka special were something that I could eat every day for every single meal. Many establishments in Edmonton, Banff, and Calgary charge a fortune for sushi that's half as good as this place. The atmosphere is unassuming and it feels like you're in Mr. Oka's home and he's making dinner for you personally. “John made my birthday dinner special with excellent recommendations and service. Super knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross contamination and safe food options that are gluten free. I had the lamb which was divine and my husband had the steak. We loved the cocktails - our favourite was the Soul Reviver. We are looking forward to coming back again soon for dinner. Breakfast was also delicious- steak and eggs and the steak poutine were cooked perfectly. We love that the staff is knowledgeable and take food allergies seriously.”

“Food and service was very good. Seemed a little expensive for what you got. I'm not sure that a restaurant needs to have a DJ, this isn't a nightclub. Music was a little loud for a place where people want to meet and visit and eat and drink. Had to talk very loud to be heard. I don't mind background music but this was a little too much. “Absolutely love this store! Called earlier to ask about Chai Tea Mix. Was told of all the available options and reviews from customers about them. Decided to give them a shot event though they weren't the exact brand I was looking for. When I went in I was immediately greeted by the store manager (gentleman with the longer hair forgive me I forget his name! He was amazing) So friendly and had the brightest smile. Told him I was there for the chai but wanted to walk around for a bit. He let me do so freely. Saw that they have a TON of options! Chia seeds, hemp hearts, a lot of tea, chocolate milk from BC farmers! Went a little crazy on my shopping trip as a lot of the stuff you can not find in grocery stores usually! Will be back 100% and thank you for carrying Acana dog food! Now I no longer have to drive to Hinton to get it. #1 store in Jasper.”

“We found the other paw bakery while roaming around downtown Jasper. It’s a wonderful place for breakfast. We had chicken little sandwich (nothing was little in that!, it was so filling in my tummy) and sticky buns (for the sweet tooth) And as always, A cup of masala chai ☕️”
