“To give a 5 Star for food, although everything was fresh, crisp and delicious as usual, they would have to add Peace River Pie to the menu, or at least bring back the Roast Beef Sub.A five star for service would be given, if they could ever remember to include serviettes with the meal to stay. It is pretty much self service and their thought Is that once you pay, that's all you want. Next please.If you want a little privacy for a family meal with discussion then we're in the wrong place. It is hard to give a 5 Star for atmosphere, when there is just a plate glass door, a few windows, bright fluorescent lighting, ( At least we can see to read the menu) So, for ambience, I say not.Otherwise clean, friendly staff, fresh food with a good selection, and reasonably fast service.*Just reading what I wrote. We see this alot in newspaper headlines.Sounds like the staff are clean and friendly.Parking: If you get there during a rush then parking is full. But if one drives down the alley behind the Treasury Branch then a person can park in the Sobeys parking area. A three or four minute walk and we are there. Probably doing us a little good anyway after sitting at a desk all day.“
“Food is fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and hard working. Sometimes the food can take a bit on the longer side to be prepared, but with limited staff and most of the food being sautéed during the making of the order its totally understandable. One of my favourite places for lunch!“
“Noel was our sandwich artist emphasis on ARTIST. ingredient selection, but complete ratio from To Sandwich Allowed for nothing to creep into the imagination that would be anything less than sublime. And just so we’re clear we were pretty creative in the sandwich selection, so not everything should be going to Noella as far as how it came out, but as far as any artist that would’ve put their hands into something that we both consider to be a masterpiece, both being myself and my good friend Tom who actually I would say is my best friend Tomand we’re going to call this sandwich a 9.72 out of 10 out of all the subway experiences I’ve had in my life that is on a subway scale. I’ve never graded subway attend but that’s about as damn close as it gets.“
“This was our first visit to Eastside Eatery. It's a bit out of the way, in an industrial area. The sign is very plain but there is free parking, although I parked on the street because I'm towing a trailer. We both ordered sandwiches. For me it was the meatloaf sandwich and for my partner it was Chipotle Turkey Bacon. They use really thick slices of bread that some may like and others might find too filling. My meatloaf sandwich was only $10.50 which is good value. The Chipotle Sandwich was a bit more at $13.50 but that's still reasonable. I had a coffee too. It was fine, though nothing special.WiFi is free but not password protected. It was nice inside the cafe. Very roomy and not too loud nor too quiet. It was easy to carry on a conversation. I enjoyed my sandwich but it was a bit large. Still this could be my new go to cafe when I'm hungry on the QEII. I recommend it.“
