“I came across this Eatery by chance on the Internet.We went there for lunch today, the place is clean and trendy .The food was excellent, my Husband had the Perogy Poutine,I thought he was going to lick the bowl, lol, I had Mango Shrimp bowl plus a piece of fish which was done to perfection.Fish is a Tuesday Special $3 for 1 piece $3 for fries $3 for a drink . I think Thursday Special is Tacos .The service was A1, there is a very friendly Vibe there.The owner was Prompt and courteous and efficient.The prices are on par with other Restaurants.If you are looking for a new place to try this is a must.We will certainly go back again.Parking: This Eatery is located next to Joeys Only Fish Shop“
“We went to Joey’s after the new renovations, and were pleasantly surprised by the uplifting and attractive decor!We ordered calamari and clam chowder for appetizers, and both were excellent.We had the fish sandwich and chicken sandwich as mains. The plating is innovative, if a bit restrictive.The meals were good enough, but the buns were a tad burnt, and the brown rice a wee bit dry.For desserts, we ordered the non-baked lemon cheesecake and the deconstructed carrot cake. Both ideas promised more than what was delivered, mind you.Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. We will go again“
