I sent my gf in with a list due to me being sick, she came back out to the truck and said you might wanna check those subs, so I did and found out that extra lettuce doesn't coexist. Being upset and paid money for something that should have been done right the first time I stormed in the store in my pj's and demanded for my extra lettuce.

Subway:The place you got to for tasty reliability…Or so I thought. This was my best experience in any Subway ever! After having a rather complex order, I was immediately helped by buddy, I did not grab his name, unfortunately.Firstly, so no mistakes were made, we went to the till to see if the subs would qualify for this 3-sub deal they had on, and more…Just ti be clear, dude who helped me spoke English very well and clearly. At Subway, good communication (on both sides) is vital…Subway introduced their ‘Suprimo’ subs, which had 3-4 kinds of meats on them, and they look great. B loved the Surprimo, including the standout capicolla on it. Along with Genoa salami, ham, pepperoni. And double cheese etc.The 4 (huge) subs I got were made conveniently fast, but carefully. This is a busy location, but the tram members there are on the ball.Very good experience.See you guys at this location (Redcliff Dr) again soon!

Food was ok, service sucks. The so called sandwich artist was pushy. Time for a career change.

The best thing I can say about this location is that they are incredibly consistent.Unfortunately, it's consistently bad service and when using the app, consistently not what we ordered.Tonight, I took a couple friends here for dinner - dine-in as we just don't trust the app anymore. The service was so appalling that the two normally bottomless pit friends didn't want me to treat them to chips, cookies or even anything to drink. I think the only reason they were ok with the sandwiches was because they had already been made (by a different worker who hadn't treated us poorly). Unfortunately, one of the friends regretted even the sandwich as the quality/taste of some of his sub toppings was off. It doesn't take an eating disorder for these food service workers to trigger a loss of appetite. So, they are very unsafe for anyone with an eating disorder, especially an anxiety related one, and they could potentially cause a significant setback in recovery and nutrition intake, as they have done to me consistently. (I have been able to eat at other restaurants successfully, so it's not just my eating disorder being too severe, either.)Even with the 'free sub, next visit,' that they keep offering to get me to come back so they can 'make things right' for me, it's not worth going here anymore. They can't make things right if they don't fix the underlying issues that lead to such consistent problems. Another bad experience doesn't make anything right.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp, but not powered doors. Other than the two handicapped parking spots and the ramp, there are no accessibility accommodations and the set up actually makes it to where there isn't even anywhere to dine-in in a wheelchair where you won't be blocking a pathway. The barriers across the front of the counters also make communication difficult if you are a little person, in a wheelchair or even just short. The staff are also not very welcoming or accommodating to people in wheelchairs. I have not attempted to use their washrooms, so do not know how they are set up or if they are accessible. The hallway they are down seems a bit narrow, though. So wider chairs (especially bariatric ones) will likely not fit or struggle to turn through the doorway to the washroom. (I use one of the smallest adult-sized wheelchairs and I am pretty certain I would end up scuffing the walls turning in that hallway, which is one of the reasons I haven't tried to access the washrooms.)As far as eating disorder accessibility goes, despite the potential to customize your own food, the poor service and lack of consistency (especially when ordering through their app) make this a very unsafe restaurant for people struggling with eating disorders, especially anxiety related ones. I ended up not being able to eat three out of the last three meals I attempted to eat here because of how triggering the experience was. My eating disorder is not "just that severe" either, as this last visit, after re-grounding myself, I was actually able to eat out elsewhere, proving this Subway as the problem. Even the friends I took with me today didn't want to get cookies, chips or drinks (just the sandwiches that had already been made) after experiencing Subway's service and those two can eat non-stop. So it doesn't even take having an eating disorder for their service to cause a loss of appetite.

The Subways in Medicine Hat have declined in my opnion. It isn't the same atmosphere anymore and they have a "get you in and out as fast as possible" attitude. It doesn't help that the prices have gone up and the portions have gone down either. Never thought I would spend 16.00 on a foot long sub with no drink in a small Alberta city.I had frequented Subways a lot for lunch and supper but have moved on to other local deli's to visit.
