I ordered seventy dollars worth of food, and it was all gross. They've been sitting out all day gross, not even warm, when it got to my house. Burnt ribs are so burnt and dry they just smothered them in sauce to make it look like they were just cooked. As well as missing everything that goes with every item that I got all the sauces were wrong. Don't waste your money

This was one of the worst steaks I have ever had anywhere!!! Had the tomahawk cut for 4. Neither steak was cooked as ordered Cut of meat was poor grade and quality. Cooked horribly!!! Server told us they had changed their vendor and they gave us a small discount. However the cook obviously did not know much about beef and should have been embarrassed to serve something this bad!! This cannot be considered a steak house!!

So one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I come down every month on business to the hotel which is great, but the steakhouse was a huge disappointment. I order and wait 30-40 mins for the food to come out and she( the server) didn’t bother to check on me until the bill came. It was on Wednesday night Nov.8 at 745pm. I won’t ever be back to the restaurant.

Rachelle was an tentative and happy server. She cared about our presence and was courteous to us. The food was great, served exactly to our request. Would recommend to everyone staying at The Medicine Hat Lodge, or even to locals and others visiting Medicine Hat.

I went with friends for a birthday dinner. We had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive. I ordered the Chef’s superfood salad with extra 6 oz salmon. The size of the salmon at best would be 2.5 - 3 oz.The salad did not have all the ingredients mentioned and it was poor in taste and quality. Very disappointing. Do not waste your money here.

We enjoyed a really great meal at the Teakwood. Service was excellent- friendly and pleasant. Our food was delicious - steak sandwich was very good as a special. Nice atmosphere. Will be back next time we are at the hotel.

Great restaurant! Amazing food and wonderful service! Drinks were beautiful and delicious. We got two complimentary chef dishes with our meal. Pork tamales and homemade vanilla ice cream. They were both amazing. Our meal was outstanding and everything came beautifully presented. We got the ceviche, lobster ravioli and Teriyaki steak bites. Everything was outstanding and will definitely be back when in Medicine Hat!!

This restaurant started out very promising. We were seated quickly and they did not refuse a patio seat request even though we did not reserve prior to when we arrived. Servers did their job well and we were met with many complimentary items while we waited. However, we ordered their Sunday special and were met with undercooked fingering potatoes, canned mushroom that were advertised as seared bc mushrooms, flavorless unidentifiable leaves for garnishes, sauce that tasted like it came from a package, and prime rib that was lukewarm and not properly cooked. The service staff was lovely, but they need some help in the kitchen. My advice is don't go if you're expecting more than canned items you could find at home and improperly cooked food. It wasn't all bad though, as their blood orange and vanilla martini was phenomenal.

Extremely disappointing. Waited approximately 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. Then we waited over an hour before our meals came out. You could see that the Fettuccine Alfredo had been sitting under a warming light. This dish was cold. Jambalaya was cold and starting to dry out as well. Steak sandwich was so cold that the mozzarella cheese was not melting. Chicken wings were also cold! When we spoke to the head waitress she told us she could warm up our meals. If we wanted leftovers we could have eaten at home! There was a large group in there and 2 other tables. We actually walked out. Not a good experience!

Nice place, but I was disappointed by the lack of beer selection and server knowledge of what was available. The senior bartender did save the day with a solid cocktail pour. In addition, it seemed to be marketed as providing Asian Fusion cuisine and only had two (maybe three) dishes that leaned this way. The curry dish I ordered was delicious but needed more than 4 small shrimp to call it a dish and half the bowl was rice.

Service was exceptionally slow. Out steaks were so undercooked neither of us could eat them. But it took so long for the server to come back after dropping them off that we ate everything else on the plate. We did get a discount on the meal which was appreciated. I think had the service been faster it would have been an enjoyable meal, even with having to send the steaks back.
