We ate at the Beefeater last night with friends. My friend and I ordered the Ribeye and T-Bone steaks and could not have been more underwhelmed. Both steaks were very thin like minute steaks; I'm unsure how they thought they could even cool mine medium rare (it was not cooked correctly).However, our server was fantastic as was the atmosphere. When you spend $80+ per person, you expect better though. Very disappointing and won't be back again.

The service was phenomenal, however the food was overall not that great. Our drinks and food came fast but the steak was not very flavourful and was little portion compared to what you pay. I know the waitress wrote down the request I had for my meal, but the kitchen still made it the normal way. The roasted potatoes were still pretty hard. I'd say for the portion you get, they are overcharging.

We had asked to be near the fire and were sat right beside it. The meal was fabulous and our server Bailey was excellent. The prime rib was super tender and as always the yorshire pudding was the best! Loved our night out.

Well I must say that this meal was the best we have had here. We received gift cards otherwise we would not of eaten here. BUT the quality of the food had definitely improved from our last visit. The king burger was good, the char broiled Patti was perfect. The prime rib was its usual good quality and this time the backed potatoes were what you would expect from a higher end restaurant. The service has always been outstanding here. All in all we were presently surprised at the changes so we may start going here again.

The food is always delicious it was a bit noisy for me and couldn't hear the waitress very well. Once the large group had left it was much nicer and I didn't like where I was sitting felt like I was sitting out in the open.

Finally found a place in Medicine Hat to get a a great meal! Service was friendly and efficient and food was out of this world. Portions were were in proportion to the quality which was big. Will be sure to eat there again.

I have been going to the beefeater for 35 years. I have never had anything but tremendous service and delicious food! This time was no different. The lady that seated us was a bit sharp and unpleasant but maybe she was having a bad day. The other service providers were amazing! Top notch.

Everything was topnotch from a very friendly welcome to excellent service and food.
We have always loved the Beefeater but tonight we had one of the best meals to date. It was our first night out since becoming new parents and the hospitality, service, and food topped the charts. With a Birds Eye view of the grill, we watched the steaks come off and come right around the corner still steaming. It was literally grill to table. Nick and the crew never disappoint. Will be back very soon!!

Love this locally owned steak house. We usually eat here for a treat or special occasion as it is a bit more on the pricey side, but have never been disappointed with the food (best prime rib in Medicine Hat) and the service is alway fantastic.
