Best BBQ ever. I’ve been looking for a bbq place in Edmonton that sells proper brisket for a long time. I didn’t know that all my looking would end in Nisku. The ladies serving you are the most friendly and fun group I’ve seen at a restaurant. Super quick service and they will make sure you leave feeling happy and full. Great value for the quantity of food too.

Just finished our dinner here. Table of four. Celebrating my husband and myself birthdays. The ladies serving us were absolutely amazing! Quick, cheerful, friendly and good humor. The food itself was soooo good! Perfectly tender and the choices of bbq sauces are great. We had a bit of everything and my faves are the pulled pork and ribs! If the food isn't enough to draw you in, the ladies serving you will be. Gives a home cooked meal with great friends vibe. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic food and great value. Had the pulled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, the mac and cheese, and the cheesy cornbread. Totally satisfied.
First time eating at the cookshack. Amazing. Food was sooo good. I had the brisket, mac n cheese n coleslaw. All were perfect. The cornbread was really good too. Lots of free sauces to choose from. The older lady serving up the meat was super friendly and fun. 10/10. I'll be back again. Worth the drive from anywhere.

Came down to Edmonton for a soccer tournament once I got to my hotel it was around 4:30 and decided to go get supper so I searched up places to eat near me this was the first restaurant that came up and it was rated almost five starts so decided to go and thank the lord I did.Man!! the staff were so friendly and kind and helpful and the music was good and don’t even get me started on how good the food was like DAMN I have never had a brisket that good in my life I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Edmonton and I definitely recommend going to eat there if your in Edmonton!Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten free and dairy free peopleKid-friendliness: Staff was super kind and helped out

Hands down one of the best BBQ place. We had a variety of their specials and everything was amazing. From customer service, to food to dining experience, I’m very happy. Will recommend this place to anyone without a doubt.
One of the best bbq places I have eaten at. The lunch brisket is amazing, plus they have a nice selection of bbq sauces. On Fridays, you have to have the pickle soup.
