J & A is always busy. Like, so busy that on some nights, they just have to stop taking orders. We enjoy the food. It’s fresh and well prepared. Our favourite dish is the deep fried prawns. The batter tastes how it tasted in the 80s.
We got take out and even after a half hour drive home the food was hot and fresh. The only dish we didn't love that we got was the chicken with cashews. We did find that one a bit bland, but everything else was great that we tried.

Have been buying take out from J&A for years. Love it! They are a small restaurant so they do get overwhelmed with orders and sometimes long waits and wrong orders happen. The overall experience is worth the little inconveniences. Most of the people who are giving poor ratings sound like they shouldn't be allowed outside or play with others. Okotoks is the most entitled little city I've ever lived in. Lol.
