The service was fantastic, and the gnocchi wasn’t bad (just a tad overcooked). The dessert, however, was terrible. We got the Zeppole, which were supposed to be House made mini donuts. But we’re more like hard doughballs.

We've been to try the pasta board a few times (as seen on Tiktok). Delicious, and a fun dining experience! They overcooked the gnocchi the first time, but when we made mention of it the second trip, it was much better (though much less of it). The pastas themselves were delectable, and the salad was fresh and crisp. Excellent staff!

We went to Anthony's for dinner last night. As we perused the menu when we got seated, dread filled me - not for myself but for my husband. He's extremely , shall we say, ummm, discerning about what he eats and not necessarily in a conventional way. ?We are a family that actually has a favourite frozen pizza and who go to BP for "special occasions." But when we are away from home we like to find something local. The proximity to the hotel and the added bonus of the coupon was why we chose Anthony's. As I said a look at the menu gave me a feeling of dread, so because we felt we can't just up and walk out we agreed to give it a try. Despite a very long wait, no disappointment here!My husband and daughter ordered the Pompeii. Loaded with parmigiana and tiny but might pepperoni nothing could out do that perfectly crunchy, yet tender and flaky crust! It was delightful, well worth the wait, for sure; perfection doesn't happen in 20 minutes after all!I treated myself to the gnocchi. What an absolute treat! I've never had gnocchi before but who could go wrong with a delectable sauce like that? It was so rich I had to get every drop with the last bite of my garlic bread! Mmmmm. We've found "our place" in Red Deer and might even make it a quick getaway spot when we want to have some great food! Thanks for the great and tasty experience!

Everyone has their definition of the “best pizza” out there. But Anthony’s is the most authentic pizza. If you’re after authenticity, Tony’s got it. I’ve had pizza in Rome and New Jersey, and Tony’s is on par with what you’d get in Rome. Order the Marguerita with Anchovies, you won’t regret it. It will blow your socks off.
This Restaurant is a gem. Red Deer is fortunate to have a legitimate Italian cuisine in it's city. The atmosphere is nice with lot's of booths for privacy. My waitress was Courtney lovely young lady who was very attentive and courteous. Will definitely be coming back.
The food was SO good! Wasn't sure what to expect but it was excellent!

Dissappointed. Throwing a few banana peppers on an under cooked pepperoni pizza is not a Genoa pie. Does not look like it was cooked in a fire oven. The salad was pre made and nothing special either.
