Ordered a takeout last night, which included a vegetarian hunan. Requested vegetarian; however, didn't find out till I got home that it was made with chicken. This is the 2nd time this has happened at this location. Wouldn't recommend taking out from here. I shouldn't have to be checking my food every time from now on to ensure it is correct. Be better

Went with a friend to the Sherwood Park location and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was professional and efficient. Space was clean and nicely decorated. We got mojitos and blackened chicken sandwiches which were prepared well and served on clean dishes. The clean dishes were a relief as this is why we stopped going to earls in Edmonton because the plates came with an appetizer you didn’t order. Sherwood Park for the win.

Tried to call ahead to make a reservation for 6 adults and a child but could not get passed the automated message system so we tried to book online which said we could not book a reservation for more than 5 people. We decide to just walk in to ask what was available. Once we arrived the host was visibly annoyed that we did not make a reservation even though the restaurant was very quiet at the time. We got a table and Taylor our server was great, we had a small mix up with one of our meals which she fixed quickly and apologized for. There did seem to be a clear distinction between a lounge and a family side but I’m not sure why as nothing was set up for children, no children’s menu, no changing table in the bathrooms and we paid over $5 for a small juice mixed with water.

This location is beyond inconsistent.I am a huge earls fan I find it the go to when we don't need a reservation somewhere. But this location (SP) for whatever reason needs something to change. Whether that's management, staff (especially the cooks) & the waiters. The personality from our waiter was so dry and horrible it has still left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if he was brand new or first shift ever but really not great. On top of that , it not being busy on a Wednesday night at all, it took 15 minutes to come ask myself and my friend (who we had our 2 year old boys with) what drink we even wanted. Then another 20 just to come see if we wanted food yet , let alone acknowledge anything else about serving us. We seemed last priority to this guy. And as mentioned on the consistency front I've never experienced such hit or miss with my meals here in comparison to the other locations... I know what to expect taste wise and presentation but it's not there with this place. Serving a dry old 1/4 of a cajun chicken on top of soggy romaine lettuce and forgetting avocado or bacon and charging what they do, unacceptable. And again, the server being new (probably?) would make more sense. He also forgot to seperate our bills when I mentioned it was. Then we spent another 15 minutes waiting on him to figure that out while our toddlers were antsy to get going. Like read your audience and put a rush on it. All in all I just won't be back. I'll go to clareview where they care a bit more about the client satisfaction, thanks!

Used to love this location - don’t know what happened but was super disappointed tonight when I ordered in, spent $70 and was given a dry ahi tuna poke bowl with quite literally no sauce, unripe mango & so much cabbage to supplement in it? The menu doesn’t list cabbage & this bowl has been one of my favourites for a long time & it has never included cabbage before, definitely didn’t go well. Hoping it was just an off night?**Coming back to edit & say I now know thanks to an official earls cookbook the tuna poke bowl recipe most definitely does not include any cabbage, so not quite sure of the managers response to my initial review. Hoping things have improved since then.

This earls is very consistent, the staff are amazing, and the food is often times great! Today our experience was great as always. This is usually our spot to eat as a night out with the family. Our server was amazing, but we were mis informed by the hostess. We asked if the happy hour brunch menu was available and it was apparent to our whole table that it was available that night. When we were charged it was the price of the Normal eggs Benedict which was incorrect according to the hostesses response at the beginning of the night. Yes, given we could have done a little more reading or research into the menu we would have figured this information was wrong buuuut we were hungry and hungry people miss things lol. We had made it apparent that we were upset. This review is to ask the marketing team to re design their brunch menu and split the happy hour prices and regular brunch menu into two seperate menus to make things more clear and concise! Thanks for the great night again. Hope this finds the earls team well!

I had the “surf and Turf”. Steak was tough and very bland for sirloin, except for the over saltiness of the spice they had shaken on it perhaps when grilling. The shrimp, I think, were boiled or steamed. They were rubbery and although the menu said “garlic shrimp” they had absolutely no flavour. None. I had to ask for salt and pepper to enhance them in any way. What a hugely disappointing meal for $46.50 (plus tax)! Used to eat here all the time. Very sorry to see the quality of the food go so down.

Quite a few choices in the Happy Hour menu. I ordered the kale and mushroom pizza and it was delicious. Server was very nice and friendly. I'd go back for happy hour for sure!

I love Earls. After I finish my shift I head there (Calgary trail/whitemud) with my collagues.. Sherwood Park is a completely different experience. Server needed to be reminded of items, very lil follow up, piled dishes, couldn't accomodate requests, it was one of our friends birthday, apparently they don't do anything for birthdays anymore... Now we know.. we will stick to our regular location if we have a craving for Earls.
