Love this place. Great for everything seafood, including hard to find stuff! Great selection of lobster tails, from the teeny weeny to the leviathan... (you will pay lots for the leviathan but know what? It's worth it for special occasions) and all very high quality!!

Hello fellow seafood lovers!Last week I purchased their Farmed Atlantic Salmon from BC, on special for $225.00 for a 20 lbs case of frozen filets, there were 9 fillets in total.I am a salmon fisherman and have been fishing for salmon for 40 years and have caught every species of salmon on both the East and West coasts of Canada. The salmon they sell is phenomenal, super fresh, and absolutely delicious.Their staff is friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They get a thumbs up from me. I will be buying all of my Atlantic Salmon from Fins, you simply can not go wrong.Keep up the great guys, you rock!Darren

Made a fantastic seafood risotto tonight with a medley and scallops purchased from Fin's. Thank you for dinner.

It saddens me immensely to write this review because I am a diehard seafood fanatic, but the seafood from this place was beyond disappointing. Mushy, insipid crab claws, flavorless lobster, extremely rubbery fish...for the hefty price we had paid for the order I expected so much more (factoring in adjusting expectations since we're in land-locked Edmonton, after all).Years ago they used to provide some decent quality seafood - it was never stellar but it was certainly miles ahead of where it is now. I was grateful that they at least offered a gift card to compensate but the value was still nowhere near the astronomical sum paid for subpar seafood that nobody here would even eat.

In the past Fin's was our go to place for seafood. My husband makes an awesome Red Curry Mussel dish!! And we love our oysters, lobster, and crab. However, over the holidays we purchased over $100 of seafood and were so disappointed in the lobster claws (they were dry and had no flavor) and lobster tail wasn't sweet that we didn't open the bag of King Crab we purchased. When I called, they offered a $25.00 gift certificate. REALLY for years and years of customer loyalty and over $100 in my last purchase. Obviously they no longer stand behind their poduct. They aren't the only fresh seafood market in town and have lost a loyal customer. I expected more than this from Fin's.

We places a fairly large order of meats just after new years during their case sale. Our first impression was incredible, the striploins vacuum sealed in packs of 5, salmon filets all individually sealed. The shrimp look to be of good quality and the crab cakes are some of the best we have ever had. The stuffed chicken breasts and bacon we ordered are also quite tasty. With our order we also purchased 2 cases of chicken breast and 1 case of boneless skinless thighs. These cases of chicken were not vacuum sealed in any way. My first thought was no big deal ive purchaed the big cases of chicken from costco and always received them the same. Unfortunately when we went to vacuum seal them ourselves some of the breasts were already freezer burnt and the case of thighs consisted of two 5 pound blocks of chicken frozen together. They took hours to thaw enough to break apart so that we could vacuum seal them. The thighs were so saturated in their own juices as they thawed that vacuum sealing them was messy and took more cleanup than ive ever had from vacuum sealing in the past.overall we are happy with the order and the great value, but i guess we expected a little better for the packaging of the chicken is all.

Had the striploin steads last night and they were the best steaks we've had in a long time! Amazing. Looking forward to the halibut tonight. Great service from a great local spot. Thanks!

Great place, good staples for high quality product, big fan of the lobster sensation and the pre battered frozen fish fillets are well priced, cook up perfect and full of taste. Great place to source crab and scallops as well!

Visited today. Bought 3lbs crab legs. All crab was mush, no solid meat. Good for crab cakes I guess, but $70/ per is a little expensive.Probably my last time buying here.
