Workers are nice but need to be more attentive that there are customers waiting to order. Twice today i waited several minutes while they were at the end of the counter not realizing there were customers. I ordered three drinks and noticed that the drinks costs did not match the price boards’ listed price. Items were $0.75 more than listed price. I brought this up before I paid and they told me price has increased but list has not been updated. Nothing they could do about it. Poor business practice not honouring the listed price. The price board looks like it’s just written with a dry erase pen. Workers knew prices have increased and need to take the initiative and update the price list to show they value their customers business.

I don't think Remedy should be considered as a cafe it's more like a restaurant because they seem to focus on food and ambience rather then convenience. For a coffee shop I expect to be open late for students to study at least till 8pm but they close at 7pm, most people don't even have dinner till 7 so what's the point of trying to find a quiet place to sit and study when everywhere is closed? Prices are too high for a coffee shop Hours are inconvenient for students Big meals are unnecessary for a coffee shop

Overcharged us for a drink we didn’t order and then refused to refund. Remedy used to be a great spot but the quality of the drinks and staff seems to continuously be dropping.

30 customers 1 worker. We couldn't wait 30min for a tea. Managment needs to figureout staffing.

Great place to study. Variety of beverage options. Lots of different chairs and seating options. There is a patio in both the front and back in the summer that is dog friendly. Beautiful neighbourhood. Wish they would open the upstairs back up and have earlier hours though :-)

Cozy atmosphere with lots of space to sit down and relax. The lady at the counter was very nice and accommodating for our order needs. Unfortunately when asking if they had any cheesecake options they told me they had a lemon tart on the back (which tasted good) but came out frozen making it very difficult to enjoy with my cappuccino. In terms of drinks, that coffee was really good and quite big for the price and my partner got a delicious London fog. Another negative would be that their baking on the counter had a lot of wrapping for being an environmentally friendly place.

Remedy Cafe offers a delightful experience for those seeking a cozy spot with a penchant for warm beverages. The chai, in particular, stands out for its exquisite flavor and aromatic richness, making it a standout choice among their hot drink selection. The careful blend of spices creates a comforting and memorable experience for any chai enthusiast. On the flip side, the cafe's cold drink options leave something to be desired. The limited variety in the fridge falls short of expectations, especially for those looking to quench their thirst with a refreshing and chilled alternative. Expanding the range of cold beverages would undoubtedly enhance the overall drink offerings and cater to a broader clientele. One notable aspect that could elevate the cafe's appeal is extending its operating hours into the evening. The current schedule may pose a challenge for patrons seeking a late-day or evening retreat. A longer operational window would not only accommodate those with unconventional schedules but also create a more inviting atmosphere for evening gatherings. In conclusion, Remedy Cafe has carved out a niche for itself with its superb hot drinks, notably the chai. The potential for improvement lies in diversifying the cold drink options and extending operating hours, ensuring a well-rounded experience for patrons throughout the day. Despite these considerations, the cafe's warm ambiance and standout hot beverages make it a four-star destination worth exploring.

This place always gets the skip order wrong without fail. Terrible.

I loved this place until a Palestinian flag got put up. Unfortunate that people in this shop are taking sides in a conflict where nobody wins. I didn't even see a Canadian Flag anywhere in this Canadian shop.
