Staff were very friendly and the place was extremely clean. The fries were hot and freshly made. The burger.... Holy the grease of the burger soaked the bun completely to the point where the bun was unedible. This was my first time and had high hopes for a delicious burger. I am not over exaggerating about the grease it's like the bun was soaked in the fryer prior to serving. ? For $20 I expect better and I'm really not that picky. Look at my other reviews, the majority are all positive

Kids meal should have an option for side salad… we asked for it and they said the only option was a $9.99 cob salad on top of the kids meal. Pretty ridiculous that the adult meals have that option, but the kids are not allowed .

Was driving around looking for a quick bite on Sunday at 8 pm before my hospital appt and stumbled upon SmashBurger. I've had this chain before in Calgary and it was decent so I expected a similar experience but boy was I wrong. Ordered a double bacon burger with the smash fries. It came out fairly quickly but let's start with the fries. They were shiny meaning fresh out the fryer but they shouldn't be that shiny that it's greasy. The entire order of fries was glistening in grease. Taste was meh honestly. The seasoning blend of rosemary and etc didn't do the fries any advantage. Next was the double bacon burger. Upon first look it looked like a decent burger but first bite was grease. I've never had such a greasy burger in my life. The whole burger just dripped of grease and I used all 4 napkins given to me to keep cleaning my hands from the grease. The wax paper it's served on you could see the leftover grease on the paper. The patties tasted like ground beef but odd almost meat loaf like with tons of binder and not just ground beef. I expected a crust on the patties but sadly this burger did not have any. I can say this was the worst burger I've had from a burger chain. Greasy. Tasteless. All it had for sauce was mayo. And the fact I was given 4 ketchup packets too. That was pretty sad. Smash burger has gone down hill hence why there is only one chain left in Edmonton and sadly this will be my last visit. The time I went there was literally me and another family of 6. Otherwise it was empty. Should of went to Blowers and Grafton for a better meal.

The service was amazing, thank you. However, the food was oily, and the portions were small.

You will get better burgers at Harvey’s or even McDonalds. It’s not worth the amount they charge at all. Major disappointment. You will need a second meal after. This will be our last visit

Burgers were good but the staff were pretty cold. We were visiting from overseas so we weren’t familiar with the food/concept.
Every time I order food there, the order is always messed up. We've tried to continue to support local as we've seen Red Robin's close. The food is cold if you order takeout and the order is never correct either dining in or take out. We've had to ask for refunds several times because it's been so bad. We've also noticed the quality of buns are dryer and stale and the food doesn't taste as good as it used to. A crispy chicken burger shouldn't be made from a freezer burnt triangular shaped chicken finger that is completely tasteless. It should also come with the bacon that I paid extra for. Maybe it's under new management? No manager to be found and improperly staffed when we had our last issue so it wasn't dealt with. We've been disappointed one too many times unfortunately and won't be going back.

First time to visit and definitely the last. I don’t mind spending money on quality food, but when I could have gotten better a McDonald’s, that says something. The food was not good at all. Bacon on one burger was obviously burnt and the overall taste had an overdone texture to it.

All would be 5 stars, but I missed the original onion straws on my burger.
The new Scorching Mac N Cheese Burger is the arguably the best fast food burger I've ever eaten!! Totally messy, cheesy, spicy, and DELICIOUS!! Make it a double and the big burger is a meal all by itself. Full and happy.
