Waited 45 minutes to be served only to receive the wrong order on multiple items. What a terrible experience for me and my family. It’s not the customers fault your understaffed.

Called to place a take out order, waited on hold for 10 minutes. Lady answers, we asked if they had oysters and she said no. We then went to go place the order and she hung up on us. After this we called back just to be placed on hold again, waited another 10 minutes and gave up.

What a welcoming environment, with super friendly staff. I ordered the Sukiyaki Beef Dinner Set which was cooked to perfection. The steak blended perfectly with the fresh vegetables and teriyaki sauce. One of the better miso soups I’ve had. Looks like an ideal place to take your date.

Its been over 11 years since I have eaten from Sumo Sumo, and my first time to order take away from here. I was greeted by a friendly and very helpfull staff member. Service was very quick as my order was ready in 25 minutes from the time I walked in. The sushi boat was excellant, tasty and fresh. I definetly will not wait so long again to visit.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options to accomodate.Parking: Plenty of parking available.
I’ve been to Sumo Sumo a few times over the years. My overall impression of the restaurant is decent - good atmosphere, portion, and price for the food, but not impressive in terms of service or quality. I’d give them 7.5/10. I recommend coming here for their lunches.
The food was okay. The younger men working at the front were nice and efficient. There’s an older woman who works there though who talks to the younger servers like they’re dumb. I think she’s trying to teach them but it came across as demeaning.

Joe's rolls! Yum. Not sure they still do it (it's been awhile since I've gone) but their Sunday brunch was fantastic. I love everything about this gem of a restaurant. They have a nice patio for when the weather is nice and the service has never disappointed. 5 stars all around! Check them out (or try them out on repeat).
