My favourite bakery/cafe, not just in Sherwood park but in the whole Edmonton area. I am always trying out new cafes and simply nothing compares to Wishes! The coffees (iced lattes, americanos etc.) are the best I’ve had. The same goes for baked goods (the scones and cupcakes are especially delicious). Add to all of that, the aesthetic of the place is perfection; clean, modern and beautiful! Last but not least, the owner and staff are all SO friendly and kind. Always a five star experience at Wishes.

Best cinnamon buns in Sherwood park! Friendly staff!
I got some cupcakes and a chocolate croissant. Sweet mother of Jesus… their chocolate croissant is seriously next level. I was enjoying it so much that I forgot to take a photo. The croissant was so flaky and delicious, the chocolate cream was light and fluffy (not too sweet) and then… there was Dulce de Leche drizzled inside. It was so amazing. Must try!!

Possibly the best bakery in Sherwood Park. I’m addicted to their cupcakes and scones. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. My only recommendation would be to have the music turned down a bit. The few times I’ve met friends there it was difficult to have a conversation with the volume of the music. Also, I would love to see a non metallic baking cup on the cupcakes to they could be composted.

I needed a heart cake for my Valentines book club & Wishes was the most recommend bake shop in Sherwood Park by far!! I am so, so happy with the service from the moment of my inquiry to the smooth pick up! It was exactly what I wanted -can’t recommend enough!

I’ve had cakes/cupcakes from Wishes several times, so I knew I’d be asking them to do my daughter’s birthday cake. I ended up adding on some cupcakes as well. From the very first email I could tell Adriana was going to be able to take my vision and create the perfect cake. Fast forward to the day before the event - I picked my order up and was amazed with the warm greeting and atmosphere at the bake shop. Upon arriving home I made a terrible mistake and dropped a dozen of my cupcakes face down on the floor, they were absolutely destroyed. I cried and cried knowing how busy Adriana is, but figured I’d reach out and see if anything could be done. Not only did Adriana respond to my email SO quickly but she was able to make a new batch for me on such short notice. Seriously the best customer service. THIS is why we should all be supporting local. Of course everyone at my event was in awe of the beautiful baked goods, but also the taste. I cannot recommend Wishes enough! Thank you SO much for all your help. I will never go anywhere else now.

Visited Wish Bake Shop when I was up visiting my parents and the baked goods are delicious!! Everything tasted delicious, and very fresh.The service was great, there was a bit of a lineup when we got there but it moved very quickly.

I recently visited Wishes Bake Shop with my mom and little one and we splurged by ordering all of the goodies. We got every flavour of cupcake that day (because swiss meringue buttercream cupcakes are the best), a couple of scones, a cinnamon bun, a raspberry cream danish as well as a couple of hand crafted beverages (white chocolate mocha and chai latte). Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious but the cherry on top was the very warm and inviting demeanour of the owner. Her interactions with not only us but every person who passed through during our stay made it evident why Wishes Bake Shop is so well loved and supported by the community. I only wish (pun intended) I stopped by sooner.
This is a little gem of a coffee shop!Their coffee is good but the baked treats are truly outstanding. I love their filled croissant, the cinnamon buns are divine and the cupcakes have a wonderful light buttercream with real flavours.Try it - you won't be disappointed.

I have been blessed to get baking from Adriana for a few years now. We were neighbors. Then when I heard she was opening her bake shop I thought, wow, I am never going to be skinny again. And that's ok. Because I cannot go a week without visiting Wishes and seeing her gorgeous face. I can't even pick a favorite bc she made me love scones and I never ever thought I liked them before.
