“First time going to this restaurant, Asher was our server. He was Great. Very attentive and professional. My husband got the burger- He enjoyed it. Asher helped me pick the honey mustard chicken -Amazing . He was very honest about each dish we had question on and even helped us pick the raspberry white chocolate cake to take home with us :)The reason I gave a 5/5 was because of Asher. “My spouse and I came across Appetite Delight as they were recommended by someone on the Alberta Brides facebook page. Outside our their cafe, they also provide catering services for events & weddings. From the beginning of our communications, they have been incredibly attentive & responsive. They fit us in for a tasting right away, and we were so impressed that we booked them immediately after we finished the meal. We will be moving forward with their Grande Gala Buffet, which has a really wide variety of delicious options that is sure to please each of our guests. The pistachio crusted salmon is to DIE for; we definitely added this to our menu. As we sampled, they were constantly asking us about our preferences and if there were any modifications or improvements they could make to the items, for which there were none because they were all amazing. We're also adding a donut wall, which are supplied by Calmar Bakery. Appetite Delight was kind enough to let us pick up a box with a variety of flavors to sample, all of which are SO GOOD. We're excited to have this as a staple at our wedding! I'll be sure to post an updated review after our big day, but I highly recommend booking a tasting with them if you're interested in their services for your event!“
“EDIT: Went back and saw a supreme improvement! Clearly management is on point and dealt very well with my complaint. Will absolutely return here for coffee and snacks! Lovely staff!I love perks, but this location is the absolute WORST! The staff here are just awful. Firstly the girls are always on their phones or having inappropriate conversation. In the past when I’ve gone they always act like I’m an inconvenience to them, never say hi or greet me at all. Same goes when I get my order they just leave it on the counter and turn their back so they can go back to phones or conversations with coworkers. I just stopped going there and drive to the one on king street, way better service.“
“Coffee and Food are always up to standard. Top quality option in the area for coffee and Panini’s. The meat lovers panini is what inspired me to write this. The vanilla bean frappe is also a personal favourite. The shop itself makes me as a customer feel valued as well. Great local experience and would recommend to all of my friends and family“
“Ordered 3 times now from this location. The food was hot and very delicious. I will change my rating on food. Once I talk with the owner, just one small issue with two dishes, but I will speck with the café not on here. I will definitely order again. Love supporting local staff was very helpful and friendly.“
“I absolutely love coming here on cold days. Me and my friends used to come here to study for our exams, talk with each other, rehearse for musicals, or even read books we just got at the library.It has a very welcoming environment, and the drinks are astounding. Personal favourite is their apple pie frappe - I dont think ive gotten anything else.Parking: On busy days its hard to find parking, but this may just be my preference. the parking lot is in a position where its hard to tell that Perks is even there, unfortunately.“
