We have been customers of the Asian Connection for over thirty years. It had always been our go-to place for Chinese menu items, eat in, delivery and take out. Over the last few months our experiences have been very poor. The food has gotten bland and not worthy of their long standing reputation. Could it be that there is new ownership?We will be looking for a new place to take our business.

Incredible food. I docked a star as they are needing Asian music and a sign telling you to seat yourself. It's confusing when you first come here. The food is incredible, it feels homemade. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Take out is busy so give lots of time in advance to pick it up. It would be nice to offer people a free drink while they wait for their pick up. And to have a designated spot for the food pick up services. They were rudely sitting them selves in customers tables and talking on their phones loudly. Maybe a bench down the hallway where the bathrooms are. I recommend this place for sure.

We ordered delivery on their busiest day of the year. Food was delivered the exact time they said. We were missing the lemon sauce for lemon chicken (they are human) it was at my house within 10 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious, great portions. I highly recommend Asian Connection.

Had to send back the ginger beef as it was so tough. Second order was the same, so we left it. The vegetable chow mein noodles was tasteless. Some blanched noodles with veggies and sauce poured on top. Usually this dish is sauteed and its flavorful. The crush almond chicken had a very thick batter and was not crispy. I asked the server if I could speak to Wil who is the owner and does most of the cooking there. He said that Wil retired and it is a different owner. But the same person is still cooking here. I questioned that as the food no longer resembles what I have had there for the many years of coming here. I won't be back.

Great service from freindly staff. Food is standard Chinese food. We had Wonton soup, spring rolls, veg chow mein, almond chicken, and beef and broccoli. All decent with good portions.

This is one of the worst place in St Alberts I just got hung up on and said call another restaurant. I call to ask what do you recommend for low carbs and the person could not understand and said they don't serve that. It's a restaurant clearly if you are in business you should have someone who comprehends English. I then went to Google to translate 低碳水化合物 and they still refuse to take my order. Unprofessional and disgusted! I will deff go somewhere else!

Wow... I wonder how Asian Connection stay in business.The worse Chinese take out ever! It may have been a four star BUT NOW... I ordered Dry Ribs, Green Onion Cakes and House Chow Mein.I was totally embarrassed to share this with a close friend. The dry ribs????HAVE you ever had dry ribs that are coated and then deep-fried? It actually looked like the ribs that had been previously cooked and then coated and then deep-fried.I was hesitant but tried one..Most horrible ribs I have had in my life.And horrible taste..The green onion cakes had zip taste and were just plain awful. One taste which I ended spitting out.House chow mein, what a joke.I would say 3/4 noodles with chicken... what chicken....maybe a look alike chicken. Very few vegetables...maybe fresh a while ago..My bill $40 +... for food which we couldn't eat.The City of St. Albert should check this place out.
