“Moved from Vancouver this year and have been looking for a Chinese restaurant in Edmonton that rivals what we’ve been used to in BC. Although I have yet to find one that is as good as a quality Chinese restaurant in BC, this is the only one that serves authentic Chinese food in Edmonton. If you love Shanghai cuisine, this is the one to go to in town. Tried the crab meat soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) and potstickers - both were really tasty. The beef brisket noodles was also quite good. The servers are very nice and accommodating. Service is quick. I am happy to have found this place and will definitely return.“
“Lucky Kitchen is one of our favourite restaurant in Edmonton to get some authentic Chinese food and dimsum. They have both Chinese and English menu and that makes ordering food so much easier, especially with pictures of the dishes shown clearly. We like to go after peak hours (on weekdays) so the place will be quiet and not so crowded. Staffs are friendly and are quick to serve the customers. The dishes we ordered were delicious, not too oily. Some of our favourites are Shanghai Noodles, Deep Fried Taro Dumplings with Pork, Steamed Dumplings, Steamed Beef Tripe, Seafood/ Chicken Chow Mein, Seafood Fried Rice and Salted Egg Yolk Cream Buns. Looking forward to try some other dishes next time like Durian Pastry and Steamed Curry Squid!“
“I had a dinner at Fu’s the other night and although it was a pretty average night in Edmonton, my company and I still quite enjoyed our dinner.I personally think its what Edmonton needs more of in the night life culture. The atmosphere reminded me of a place in Vancouver I went to awhile ago, which is a positive thing because Vancouver definitely has a better nightlife than Edmonton. The last aspect that I liked was having a maximum dining time as well as being required to book. It keeps the place exclusive enough so no one can just walk up and get a table plus it limits customers so you know you will still have a chance to get in Saturday without waiting long.I thought the food was good along with the drinks (On expensive side) but overall I think Fu’s Repair shop has some serious potential to be an Edmontons weekend “Go-To” spot.“
“Love me some Bei Wei. Of course, I have certain things I love, such as the lobster dumplings and my new fav the green beans with dried or fried small fish I believe. I was worried it was going to be fishy it isnt . It has onions which goes well with the beans and fish. Most people who go to Bei wei are of Asian descent, so they may also know this is a good place (wink). More authentic dishes are the way to go here, although their ginger beef is pretty good. They have dim sum at lunchtime by the way. Not a big menu for dim sum, but like I said loooooove the lobster, which, by the way is shrimp dumplings. Named lobster I think for the shape, maybe. I am there alot!“
“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants we had been to in Edmonton if not the best. We had a group of eight people and spent eight days in Edmonton. Seven days out of the eight days we ate at Dim Sum Delight Chinese Cuisine for lunch/dinner(One day they were off). We all loved the food, services, and the kindness of the people at this restaurant. We traveled 7000 miles from Hong Kong to come to Edmonton and immediately, this restaurant made us felt like home. The freshness, taste and authenticity of the food were second to none. Everything we ordered was excellent. The portions were generous with reasonable price. We had their Dim Sums and their daily specials both lunch and dinner. Their hot and sour soup and the pork rice were one of our favorites. We did not miss a day without ordering both dishes. Besides the amazing taste of the food, the friendliness and kindness of the owners of this restaurant had made us want to go back every day. Despite the unbelievably cold weather in Edmonton, they made all of us felt warm in Edmonton. These are some of the most wonderful people that own/work at this restaurant. We had tried other Chinese restaurants in Edmonton, but Dim Sum Delight was by far the best. If you are looking for amazing food, wonderful service and reasonable prices, Dim Sum Delight is the place to go.“
“This has to be one of the best places in Edmonton to get oriental food, the ginger beef and sticky rice are delicious! And so much more on the menu to name, the staff are great and very kind they will seem like your own aunties they are so welcoming, the owner is nice also he will make sure everything is up to par with your meal and service. Great location Great price and great people make this place over all 10/10!“
“Sorry, no pictures of food but this is a great place for Dim Sum. We had not been here for a long time but it does not disappoint. Everyone has their favourites but we love the rice rolls, and anything shrimp. The sticky rice is yummy and yes we ordered the chicken feet ( not for everyone, but that can be a food adventure). The sui mai, minced pork & shrimp dumplings were scrumptious of course! Deep fried squid is a good choice as well. Anyways, we will be back with more people next time. Oh, and street parking is a better deal than the lot but make sure you pay or you'll get a ticket. If you're going on Sunday, make a trip to the Farmers Market just up the street on your way home, it's a beautiful day!“
“The best place for dimsum in the city in terms of authenticity and freshness. Quality of the food has been very good for the last few years. Like most places in Chinatown, don't expect much in terms of service and atmosphere. Bathrooms are fairly clean but needs renovation.“
“Stumbled on this restaurant by chance but what a nice discovery it was. There was plenty of staff to help you if you needed something that alone is a plus. Jumbo crystal shrimp with peaches and mango sauce is definitely a must try such a refreshing meal. The best fried rice is the salted fish fried rice. Overall the food is really good all the food that we ordered were really good its just a matter of personal preference of what you love the most. We will definitely go back.“
“Friends of ours chose this restaurant to meet up together in, and I was not disappointed! The food was fantastic and the service very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a marvelous time! ? ??? ???I highly recommend this eating establishment and will most definitely go back. Hopefully many times!“
“Best dim sum in town! Have tried other over priced spots in the city. This place has the best tasting dim sum and reasonable prices per portion, compared to other places we visited recently. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. We never go anywhere else anymore.“
“This is the only Chinese place in St. Albert that offers combos for however many people with your choice of select entree’s. The entree selection is quite extensive. We ordered the combo for two and were pleasantly delighted by the flavour. As a Vietnamese person, the spring rolls were pretty authentic. The price is average for your typical Chinese restaurant. I appreciated that you could get Wonton Soup as a choice of appetizer in the combination package. I typically have to order it separately at other Chinese establishments. They offer free delivery on orders 50$+. We got our meal for takeout. You can usually assume it’s going to be a good Chinese restaurant when the restaurant itself is a little run down. I’ve tried 2 other places in St. Albert for Chinese and this place is by far the best I have tried yet.“
