My family and I love going to Whisk for the occasional treat. But it's also our go to place for Christmas baking/gifts and birthday cakes. We've been getting our Christmas baking from Whisk since before they moved to their new location. And I've been ordering my children's birthday cakes from Whisk for a number of years and it's always a hit. I love that you can order a gorgeous and delicious cake typically with just 48hrs notice. It's convenient decadence ?This year, there was an unfortunate misunderstanding about the colour of the cake we ordered. I had someone help pick it up for me, so I wasn't aware until it arrived home to me. Being late in the day, I called the shop (just before closing on a long weekend) and Jennifer was so gracious and made things right by making a whole new cake and delivering it to my home the same evening. To top it off, she added embellishments to the cake that made it just that much more special. This is the type of service and quality that keeps me coming back to Whisk.

Absolutely phenomenal bakery. The food is unreal, and the staff! They're kind, patient, and funny. I went in at closing time (I didn't know it) and was struggling to make a choice, everything looked so good. They gently told me they were closing up, so I picked something as quickly as I could so I could get out of their way. The barista helping me turned out to be the owner, and we chatted for a minute while I paid. She told me to hold on a second, disappeared, and came back with a bag of leftover goodies! I was just so touched by her kindness; she didn't know it, but I had had a really bad day, and she just completely turned it around.And the FOOD. Oh my God, the food. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. You have to try this place, you won't regret it. Try EVERYTHING.

First time here. I ordered a cheddar and chive biscuit that was huge. I asked for it warm and the barista gave me butter as well which was a bonus. It was so good. I would come back just for that biscuit. I ordered a hot mocha aswell. Not enough chocolate for my liking.
They use roasti beans, but pull a better shot than roasti’s own location. Espresso has that salted caramel-like flavour that wasn’t brought out by any other cafe that uses roasti beans. Very impressed!

The parking can be a bit rough sometimes when things get busy, but that shouldn't stop you from swinging by this coffee shop for your local coffee. We like to stop here on the way back from town.

this place is so cute! very clean, bright and modern - with a great array of baked goods (sandwiches are only after 11 am). the staff are super friendly and lovely and so many unique latte options as well! iced oat latte is so good on a hot day, definitely on the more espresso side so ask for extra milk if you like it less coffee like.the pecan banana loaf is the vegan option (it is VERY dense) - more a snack than a breakfast option. 3 stars for the strawberry cheesecake because the structural integrity was poor but it tasted good!

The baking was fine, but not spectacular. My scone was dryer and much crisper on the top than I like in a scone. The staff had the air of irritation when I asked questions about gluten free options, which they had a sign advertising. We got the last package of frozen gf cupcakes. They were tasty! We ordered drip coffee and it was so bland and tasteless. We chose to drive in to St. Albert to visit this place specifically. We’ll try a different place first in the future.Parking: You have to register your car for free parking.Dietary restrictions: They advertised gluten free and vegan options. I don’t know for certain, but I think all those options were frozen only.
