Place is a joke. They don’t know the meaning of service. Service at Wendy’s is better and you don’t have to tip. Come to think of it, the food is better too. Used to be a decent place but the service now is nonexistent. You’re better off going to Olive Garden. At least they’re nice.

88th Street Pizza has been incorporated into Little Italy (same building). Friendly, gracious folks. Tasty, quality food; good variety available for take-out. I like to know I'm supporting a local small business.

We ordered a pizza to pick up after 50 minutes! Paid almost $30.00 for an undercooked cold pizza! Not the first time we have been dissatisfied with their pizza! Sorry but we’ll be look some where else next t! Trying to support local isn’t always a great idea!

** hotel orders BEWARE **. Ordered delivery to hotel. They knew we were ordering to hotel, gave Hotel name and room number. Food showed up hour and half later (okay with that). But no utensils to eat with! Or napkins! Called restaurant within 30 seconds hoping to catch driver before he left premises . But was informed that they do not provide utensils or napkins, (never, they said) even to hotel customers! I asked why they don’t notify hotel orders and they acted like i was expecting too much and I should go down to hotel desk and get my own. (My hotel has no restaurant, and its not their responsibility even if they did!) manager was too busy to come to phone, i asked because I Thought: ‘surely this couldn’t be right! No utensils?! Ever?!’ They did offer to send their driver “out somewhere to try to find some utensils and napkins” to bring back! Or pick up food and refund. Really didn’t want to start all over after nearly 2 hours ordering food again and waiting on a delivery from elsewhere… Sooo we got very lucky that our hotel, with no restaurant, had a couple cheesy ‘Sporks’ with a cheesy napkin and a salt and pepper packet! Y’all know the kind? Saved the night for a couple weary and hungry travelers! Thankfully! Could have been worse, but if your traveling and do not want to eat pasta with your fingers.. you might try another takeout or delivery place that provides utensils!

I read a review that said this place is as close as you’ll get to a NY pizza. The person that wrote that should go jump off a bridge onto a frozen lake and break both legs for making such a blasphemous statement because he obviously has no clue as to what the hell he’s talking about. The pizza is just, meh, and that’s it

Little Italy was a favorite but no more. The food was not good. Although its version of piccata is different than any other I've had, I didn't expect a heavy sauce that tasted smoky/burned and was mostly mushrooms. The marina seemed to be nothing more than canned stewed tomatoes.

After have been working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years I have to say that this is the worse service that I have encountered in years. First off the only good part about our experience was the food was spot on: we had the fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti with meatballs so with that being said cheers to the kitchen. The service was the biggest down fall for me, because upon arrival within sight from the door way we could tell that over half the restaurant was empty, and the guy at the door said “umm let me see if I have someone who can serve you..” at this point I’m already starting to wonder about this place (why wouldn’t there be someone to wait on us, this is a restaurant?). We get seated and then wait about 10-15 minutes to even have water at our table, then we wait another 30 minutes for the server to actually come to our table. At this point we were all fine with water because we knew it would probably take an eternity to even get a drink. She finally showed up and while she was polite yes, she took her sweet time. We ordered all was fine but goodness me it took another 35 minutes to even get our food out to the table, while she was serving our food to the table she was barking orders at the busser. (Mood killer) Then we all finish and table was never cleared and we were never asked if we needed or wanted anything else in fact the check was never brought to the table, we had asked the busser at the table next to us 3 times to come over and every time he hung his head and ignored us even after looking directly at us..all I can say is wow. Eventually we had to get up and chase the server down just so we could pay. No customer should ever have to track their server down. Then to top it all off the server gave us this line “I can only do so much, and I’m under so much stress!” I’m sorry but no employee should be bothering or expressing their concerns to the customers ever. Customers to out to have a nice time not to be bombarded with your excuses or sad life’s. This is NOT hospitality!! Thank you for the good food but if you don’t have the quality service to back it up we won’t be back!

My family and I have enjoyed 88th Street Pizza on a number of occasions. After tonights experience we will be exploring other options. This evening I called (@6:39pm) and ordered pizzas and desserts. The gentleman on the phone took the order, repeated it back to me, and said it would be delivered in about 45 min. At 8:12 we had not seen a delivery guy and I called to see what was up. At that point the staff at 88th street said they could not find the order and their manager would call me right back. About 9pm the manager called me back and apologized for the inconvenience, but then said there was no record of my call or order. I described the interaction I had with the gentleman from the call. She said she had looked up my phone number and saw that I had ordered on a number of occasions in the past. I am not sure what I expected, but there was no offer or suggestion of any resolution. I have attached a screenshot from my call log. I did call. I did order pizzas.
