Used to be our favorite coffee shop — when Michael worked nights we were here every night, sometimes more than once. Over the past year the coffee has gotten worse and worse. Coffee is frequently burnt, orders are consistently wrong, and their prices have gone up to the point of absurdity. Just go to Boom down the street – the lines are awful, but at least their quality is consistent.

I had come here only 3 times in early Sept and 2 of those times my credit card numbers were stolen and I had the next day charges to walmart .Com. I had to get new cards it happened 2 times..I went the 1st time a d didn't know it was from them cuz I had been to a few different places but the next time it was a new card and the very day I went there to get coffer in morning and then only holiday and then next morning charges again. I had to get smother new card I called and no one who owed the place called me back at all bad place..day away
Had a very weird interactions this morning at 6am. We sat waiting for over ten minutes. We said hello and even walked around the cart worried someone might need help. I got out of the car looked into the open window to see the bartista hiding in the back of the chart we made eye contact and she still made no effort to come help us.

Been going here for years. Great baristas. Good coffee. This morning we had an odd encounter (7/3 at 10am). We ordered three coffees. Our punch card had two empty spots left (number 9 and the FREE one). The gal only punched one spot. I said they always punch one per drink. She said it’s one punch per visit regardless of number of drinks ordered. Anyways she refused to punch more than one or let us use our free drink. And she said they didn’t have any more punchcards anyways…to fill ours up and start a new one. Super weird and not like the old Sugar Shack customer service I was used to.

I absolutely love "AK Sugar Shack!" The owner and staff are always friendly! And they are open 24/7! Whenever I have a late night job to do I always stop and get my usual! Mexican Mocha with a pump of Cayenne pepper!They are definitely my "Go To" coffee shop!
