Facebook page says they’re temp closing on Oct 21, 2021 to relocate, however as of 7:15 am on Oct 18 they are not open. Was really hoping to give them a try.

Posted hours say 6:30-3 however at 7:15 they were not open on Oct 18, 2021. Had to swing by the drive up coffee around the corner since I promised bagels to my coworkers.

Really good food, fast service, and great menu. Do not let the name of the restaurant deceive you, there are a lot more options than just bagels. If you are in the area and looking for breakfast this place is hands down your best option.

The alaska bowl is fantastic but they really need to figure out their over the phone orders. More than twice I’ve called at least an hour before closing and have been told that the kitchen is closed and they aren’t taking orders? This afternoon I called twice hoping to pick up some breakfast but they didn’t respond the two times I called them. I had a friend call them on their phone in case something was wrong with mine and his call wasn’t picked up either. The food is great but I’m too busy to dine in and I can’t see myself ordering from this business ever again.

Editing this review because I went back to get a different one. I don't think the strawberry matcha is their thing BUT the girl working the front counter was very helpful and patient. Hard working as well. A different girl made me a strawberry banana smoothie instead and it was much much better. Went from one star to three because of impeccable customer service. Original: This is.... A strawberry matcha............... wtf is this?? I was scared to taste it but honestly it takes like milk with chunks of strawberry. I highly appreciate them subbing bacon for avocado in my Benny bowl (which isn't a bowl. Just eggs Benny with a side of potatoes) but this strawberry matcha is so disappointing. I feel like I wasted $7 on this beverage

HORRIBLE COFFEE AND BLAND FOOD

Good place for quick and easy diner-type breakfast. Big portions! A lot more options than bagels too - they have omelettes, eggs Benedict's, and more. The reindeer sausage is delicious. Nice customer service as well!

I'm extremely disappointed. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a child. At least 15 years I've been coming here. I have a multitude of fond memories. But I'm the past 6 months they have gotten my order incorrect every single time. At least 8 times. They no longer prioritize the very thing that is on their sign, bagels!!! I keep coming back because it was one of my favorite places to go. But the bagels have no quality control and the front desk lady is abrasive, rude and judgmental. I want to hold onto hope that's things will resume to their normal standard. But honestly I don't see a great future. The reviews have been so negative lately and they are not doing anything about it. Sad.

Stopped in just for a quick bagel and butter to go and the bagels were thick, big, and very tasty. A pretty good selection and I saw they had day-old bagels by the dozen that were like 75% off. The menu looks good and if I ever make it back to Anchorage again, I'd certainly stop for a quick bite.

As a long time fan of this place, I have to say that the last three times I've been in (once w a newbie) have been incredibly disappointing! They were out of two of the flavored cream cheeses I came for on *three separate visits* and had a very limited selection of bagel flavors on two of those visits. Their cream cheeses are what gets me out of bed, so that is incredibly disappointing that it KEEPS happening! Adding insult to injury, the last time, they said all of my order was in the bag, but they neglected to add the toasted bagel and the cream cheese so I had to come back. Very disappointing from one of my previous go-tos.

I like the food here, but not really the staff. I understand covid has made everyone short staffed, but there were plenty of staff working and we were the only ones at a table waiting to be served. The food is good, but just not impressed with staff (both times I've gone).

My first attempt going here was better than my second. The first visit they weren’t open - even after I had checked their hours. I drove all the way over and found a sign on the door. Updating business hours online is not difficult - I know because I’ve done it. At least that day I went somewhere else and got a good breakfast.Visited for the second time yesterday and it was worse than the first. We got there with one person in line before us. We gave them our name for the order and told them we were taking a seat. DOZENS of people came and left following our order. Sure some where just for plain bagels to go, but many were people also eating there or ordering bagels with spread, etc. They also had a number of grub hub orders they were filling and sending out the doors. After 20 minutes of waiting for our two bagels with cream cheese, I went to the counter and spoke with the cashier that took our order. She checked with the staff member preparing the bagels and informed us they forgot about our order and would start making it.We got a simple “sorry about that” when handed our order. To top all of it off the bagels were doughy and the smear was barely there and poor quality cream cheese.I do not recommend this place - whether they are open or closed you may not get your breakfast.

We have stopped in twice to this restaurant while visiting AK. Our niece, Jo, works there so we're mildly bias, but we have to say how impressed we are! The food is yummy and the service is amazing! The young ladies that work there are professional, courteous, and very polite. We had a mix up on our order & they not only let us keep the original order, but the order we received by mistake. Our niece was on break and we surprised her by popping in & she immediately got up to help us and the other staff. It seemed like a friendly and team oriented work environment. Every single one of those young ladies deserves a kudos!

Best loch bagel of my life. and the staff is so sweet. The atmosphere is lovely, huge windows to look out at Anchorage and really clean dinning area. You'd be crazy to not go here.
