I’ve tried most of the pizza places in Anchorage. And can honestly say this is the place you should go. Great pizza, fantastic dough/crust with a solid cheese/sauce balance that you can only dream of. Have had most of the other items off the menu as well and have never felt anything less than satisfied. Thankful we have a place like this in Anchorage.

Decent Alaskan pizza for the price, the crust is the best part IMO, and accurate to NY style pizza. Food was hot and quick, especially for a Friday evening. The mozzarella sticks and wings left a bit to be desired but you can't go wrong with the pizza

Tried their pizza for first time. Personable gentleman who makes the pizzas. Delicious sauce with a hint of oregano (not too much), cheese and pepperoni is fresh. Looking forward to ordering more.
Been meaning to try Amore's Pizza for ages, ... and finally had to the chance to do so. Pulled in the driveway and walked in - Akee (spelling may be way wrong) the owner, we presume - was creating pizzas as we entered. He stated a 10 minute wait, no problem, we sat outside at the picnic table under the umbrella - weather was WAY to nice not to! :) Akee was spot on - our pizza was done in no time. We decided to have a slice right there and then, before taking it home - YUM!It was FABULOUS! For me it was reminiscent of the ole local neighborhood pizza places in New York and tasted GREAT! I certainly DID go back in and told Akee how much we enjoyed it. Over all I give him 5 stars. Best yet, ... it's in our 'hood, ... could walk if we wanted. New fav pizza place? Yeppers, new fav indeed! :)

This little pizza joint was the best. No place to dine in but the gentleman was extremely friendly. He brought the pizza to our car. The wait was little to nothing. I highly recommend this place to all friends and family.
