The cooks are losing their flare. We had a cook with no emotion. They seems to be tired of cooking. 10 years ago the cooks were happy and funny. Now days they just do the bare minimum just to get a paycheck. Food was ok the cook needs to be a bit more neat. Had food all over the place.

Food and chef was great. Service wasn’t good. We just received our Habatchi steak, and we were asked what favor of free ice cream would we like. The ice cream and check came out within minutes. We were still eating our steak and cocktails, while watching our ice cream melt when the server brought us Togo boxes and asked for our payment. I would have understood the rush if they were busy, but there were still ten grills completely empty.

Our food was good and we enjoyed it until a big roach ran out from under the food cart, across the floor and up the wall. I pointed out to the amazing waitress who stomped it dead on the wall. I guess they just got sprayed that morning. I never knew they had roach problems. The manager gave me a $17 credit and I still paid about $60 to dine with my daughter and a roach! I feel our ticket should have been comped 100%. I can't go back to my favorite restaurant now. So bummed. Uggg just gross!***** No response still.

My first visit, being introduced to Benihana by colleagues. We went at lunchtime and it was very quiet. The food is amazing, and the experience is great fun! I had calamari with the lunch duet and it was the best I’d ever tasted!

After asking for a different waiter we were happy with the attitude of the new server. He was absolutely amazing. If you go ask for Jason to be your server and Morgan to be your cheff. That being said it was very loud. Living in Hawaii and spending time in Japan I've never seen so much butter put on food. To the point I was sick to my tummy all night and could not eat my dinner. The sushi was amazing the miso soup was amazing. The actual hibachi was off. To much butter is to much. After spending about 375 on dinner it was to much for a puddle of butter on things you can't eat. The manager seemed lovely. Honestly I don't know who made over butter on asian food a thing. I would love to go back however don't think the food is worth the price. Especially after being sick all night. The scallops were overcooked amd possibly they were bad. The possibly of being good is there. Not with butter swimming on your plate.

It wasn't quite the show I expected from the commercials, but the food was great, the cook at our table was engaging. A little pricier than I expected, but Al in all a fun experience.

The chef was awesome. Food was great. The waiter was extremely slow just for sodas. Had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time because they try to fill up the whole table with other people coming in later. That happens every time and is extremely irritating.

Had a reservation for 3:30. Never got seated. We got up and left. It was dead and there was no reason for us to wait 20 minutes for a table that was RESERVED in advance. No music no thing while we were waiting. It was quite and just not welcoming. Never wasting my time here again.

Sweet

I believe we had a new cook, the food took a bit of time to make it to our plate and some of it was overcooked and a little crispy. The cook himself was nice and attentive however there was no show and little interaction with the cooking process. We got there at 7pm and was seated fairly quickly and he finished cooking just before 9pm. We chose this place for my husband's birthday dinner and the server asked if he wanted to be sung to which made it awkward so he said no, the restaurant was empty by then anyways and I believe she would have been the only one singing. This was not our first time to Benihana but it may be a little while before we go back.

We have been to Benihana's on multiple occasions and I would have to say this was the best time yet! Jason, our server, was attentive and very friendly. He helped make our anniversary exceptionally special! Our chef, Brad, did such a fantastic job! My scallops and steak were both cooked perfectly! I could not have asked for a better dining experience! I look forward to celebrating there again!
