Benny's Food Wagon, the Mexican food truck in Anchorage, Alaska, is a delightful culinary oasis that offers a unique experience, just like the unexpected twists in life, such as the collapse of the Soviet Union and my recent car trouble. The food at Benny's is a fusion of flavors that reflects the cultural diversity we encounter in our journey through life. The collapse of the Soviet Union, a historic event, is a reminder that change can happen suddenly, much like the surprise and inconvenience of my car breaking down.As I savored the delicious tacos and burritos, I couldn't help but appreciate the resilience and adaptability that life demands. The staff at Benny's were exceptionally understanding and accommodating, much like the people who navigated through the challenges of the post-Soviet era.The warm atmosphere and friendly service at the food truck were a pleasant surprise, much like the support and assistance I received when my car encountered problems. In conclusion, Benny's Food Wagon is a culinary gem that, much like the unexpected events in life, has the power to turn a challenging situation into an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of their mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, and perhaps, like me, you'll find some meaningful connections to life's unpredictable journey.

Wow, just got a burrito from here not only is it absolutely not Mexican food, it’s like a little kid. Made my burrito for eight bucks? Come on guys I know you can do better than that. This is terrible. Whatever it is, it’s not Mexican food by any stretch

It's a food truck that serves really great Mexican food, really quickly, with a smile ?. Service is constantly impeccable. I'm always wanting to go here anytime I come home to Alaska. It's a craving that cannot be satiated with just any other Mexican restaurant. Maybe it's my childhood memories growing up eating Benny’s Mexican food back when they used to be across the Sears parking lot, or maybe it's just because they are that darn good.Parking: It's a food truck in a open parking lot. If parking is an issue, I don't know what to say besides, be patient. It's worth it.

Always great customer service with this family owned food truck! Make sure you have cash as they only accept cash. Reasonable pricing for the amount and quality of food. The dishes are simple yet flavorful. So don't expect lavish dishes. There's no seating around the area to eat your food, so inside your car it is! I'm addicted to their salsa.. yum!

This is one of the best Mexican places I've been to. The flavor of their food is delicious, better than most restaurants. The owners are also friendly.

I had the asada burrito and the meat was tasty...but WAY to much salt. The rice and beans were flavorful. I will try another item next time.

The hidden, original, food truck gem. My grandpa ate at Benny's back when they first opened in like the '70s. He would take my dad as a child, then my dad would take me as a kid, now I take my boys there. Same food as its always been, and that's a good thing. Definitely a place you need to try.

One of the best hole in the wall spots around anchorage. I’ve been coming here since the 90’s with my parents. The workers are very respectful, food comes within minutes of ordering, the fried burritos with hot sauce is just delicious. I love this place.
