I ate here yesterday, the kalbi short ribs were dry and tough, rice was cold and dry, vegetables were mushy, the spring rolls and wings came 20 minutes after the fried noodles , the vegetables in the rolls were mushy, wings were overcooked, the dumplings fell apart, my wife didn’t like the crispy fried noodles she said it had no flavor,I liked the chocolate eclair but the chocolate cheesecake was not as good as it usually is.

Delicious food, been going since the 90s. Pastries to die for (think European pastries). Menu has expanded but they have kept the original items, like the braised beef noodle soup and red bean bun. Pastries to die for. I was always a weekday customer until I noticed the Saturday only menu and had to explore that. Did I mention the pastries are to die for? Hoping someday they can expand a bit for a better dine-in experience and to accommodate the lunch rush waiting for pick up line.

Been craving Dim Sum and was told this is the only spot in town. Menu is very limited and prices were steep for what we’re accustomed to. But as I just mentioned, only spot in town. We had multiple places we were eating at so we didn’t order too much. The bean curds were good but at almost $12, I’m not sure. The Har Gow were big and juicy. The spicy wontons were our favorite

Superbly delicious Chinese food. The vegetables were perfectly done: firm yet not too crunchy. The sesame chicken was tender and juicy with enough sauce. The chicken, mushroom, and asparagus entrée had a delicious, delicately flavored sauce that complemented the vegetables well. The chicken steamed bun had good flavor and was soft and moist. Staff was helpful, friendly, and kind. The atmosphere was well-lit and clean (dito for the bathroom!) Overall, it was a good experience.

Charlies has never had the highest quality of food, but it was previously average. We ate here a few nights ago and we were amazed at how bad it has become. The sidewalk noodles nearly had as many onions as noodles. Our beef dish was equally loaded with very poor quality onions. This whole experience was totally disappointing. We won't be back.
