We were greeted and seated promptly. Food was ordered shortly after and arrived quickly. This has to be the best Mexican restaurant in Anchorage. I have tried the others but the flavor isn't their like it is at El Dorado. We will definitely be coming back.

I found this restaurant several months ago and it has become my favorite restaurant, the staff is outstanding, Carmen greets every customer with such a warm and friendly attitude that it's difficult NOT to love her. I recently requested a reservation for a surprise birthday party for a dear friend, there were 20 ladies in all, Carmen was so accommodating and excited, we are regulars at El Dorado so it was an easy choice. the dining area is beautifully decorated, very festive with bright colors and huge windows. The area was set up perfectly, the service was outstanding and the food, as always, was perfection. They have a mole sauce that is the best I have had and I have not found it at any other Mexican Restaurant in Alaska. if I could give ElDorados a rating of 10 I would,

Absolutely delicious food! The staff was kind and proficient.
My first time being here was decent. The food came quickly, tasted good, and the restaurant was pretty clean. I did find their prices on the high side compared to other Mexican restaurants with as good or better quality and I wish I had been checked on after my meal came so I could get a refill, extra napkins, etc.

I am not sorry for speaking in any other way but in this case the thing is because the telephone customer service and in particular to be exact the sister of the owner of the restaurant is a person with bad taste in attention who does not know not even in the least the use of customer service. , it is pedantic and being direct that she speaks quickly (say to a client) because she is busy is in bad taste and one should be given the same right to attention because we all have questions that only the place Her name would have a mountain response to what she wants but this woman is bad with her way of being with people and I ask how she can be there but we all know that she is the owner's sister, it is the only thing that supports her because otherwise For me, I make them throw it away because this does not give a good experience or the right to recommendations of this restaurant in that my person or another person has gone through something equal or similar to what has already been mentioned and it is only saying that I tie it with in one's introductory letter on special occasions and this should be taken very seriously

Ummm...Amazing with a capital A! I've been working in Anchorage for a year and finally filtered through all the reviews on Google in search of good spanish food I didnt think I could find here. Let me tell you, all the great reviews do not even do this place justice. I travel all over the US and territories and this is some of the best if not the best I've had. I had the Enchiladas Suizas and Cadillac Marg. This is the best meal I have had in Anchorage and I've been to all the hot spots. Salsa is very dynamic and has great depth of all the good mexican tastes you expect. I found myself scraping the bottom of the bowl for the last little bit. Great service too and very friendly family owned restaurant. Make sure to stop by here and give it a try while you're in town.

We have tried this restaurant a few times now and each time the service has been horrible. It took forever for the food to come out. It wasn't hot whatsoever. Barely lukewarm is more like it. I'd understand the food taking long to come out had they been busy but there were only six people in the restaurant. Not six tables but two tables with three individuals at them each. I doubt they'll get another chance from us. Their decor was very nice. Sadly, this was the only positive thing going for it.
