Best food in town. If you know, you know. Every time we have visitors, this is where we go. It never disappoints. The owners pour their soul into the place and it shows.

Just another overpriced yuppie hangout that uses buzzwords like “kimchi garlic” on their menu to describe basic pickled garlic. This tiny poke bowl was $24 and just tasted like mayo.

I've been to Anchorage Brewing for a beer a couple times and recently tried the poke bowl that cost $24! LOL it wasn't anything special and mostly just tasted like mayo and sesame oil. Plus they culturally appropriated the term kimchi by calling the pickled garlic "garlic kimchi"

Love the rotating menu, if I was local I'd be here every week! Ahi tuna soba was my favorite this summer

Ridiculously delicious pork belly bahn mi. If I wa a local, I’d eat here everyday they’re open to try all the different creations.

The Pork Bowl was good! Just like Anchorage Brewing Co, the portions are small for the price! $24-26 after tip for a small meal. Also it was kind of dry - needs a sauce. And it was filled with over 50% white rice. For that price, at least add more meat or other non-rice ingredients. The Pork itself was fire 10/10!!

Such a chill place located in Anchorage Brewing! New menu every weekend and such variety to keep my palate curious for more. They serve up NOMs Thursday thru Saturdays only. This weekend it was a meatball sub extravaganza! AK bison or a veggie option of a mushroom/eggplant/rice. I went all 3 days! Loved both the options - so delish and savory meatballs on a fire-toasted bun with garlic butter, then topped with marinara sauce that'll knock your socks off and a mozzarella/parmesan cheese blend melted and ooey-gooey all over the sub. I recommend following them on IG @familia.ak for weekly updates. Grab a beer! Grab some food! Bring your dog, too :). And Happy NOM'ing! :)
