I want to say that this review directly pertains to the Firetap on Muldoon. My pizza was cold and burnt, salad was old, and pasta was flavorless. The next time I decide to spend $73 on food I'll make sure to spend it some place else. Thanks for nothing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was horrible the seafood dip tasted like it was 2 years old we couldn't wash the taste out of our mouth for hours, even the taste of the pizza which was almost as bad didn't do it. The service was fine and the atmosphere would be good if that had anything that resembles decent food. Watched two other couples leave unhappy with the food and didnt take more than two bites. Has potentional if the got new recipes but for now qould never go back.

Every time I come here I am never let down. The food is amazing and has quite a bit of variety. Their service is awesome as well. You can either sit at the bar and watch come sports, or chill in a cozy corner or table. Firetap is becoming one of my favorite restaurants.

The meatball pepperoni pretzel was great. Its a new way to have the flavor of a Stromboli or calzone but served as a sandwich. Mine was a bit burnt on the edges but still good. My daughter had the cottage pie. It had good flavor but the gravy in the meat wasn’t gravy it was more like soup.

I've always heard and seen mixed review of this place. But after going there with some guys, I can say we had a good time. Vibe and decor is chill, food was surprisingly really good (well worth the not-cheap cost), and the beer selection is one of the largest and best I've seen in Anchorage (they even had Kona brew!). If I were to knock on anything, though, it would be the menu. That thing is huge in more ways than one. It's double-sided, the size of poster, and might literally have more than one hundred items. It's way too much. Me and my friends thought it was funny how genuinely stressed we felt trying to pick something out. My suggestion: shorten it greatly. Maybe have seasonal menus. I'm sure it would cut costs for Firetap and give customers a more relaxing experience. Not really a big deal, though.All in all, really good experience. Give it a try!

Honestly been waiting to write this review for awhile hoping that if I gave this place a few chances to be better than the last but eh... It's not terrible, but it's also not a place I want to come back to. Their prices are too high and the food is greasy... Everytime I come here I get severe indigestion and I don't ever get that. Drink menu is probably the saving grace.

Ugh. I came back. I thought - its been a long time, and I've seen some comments about improvements. No.Not at all. Even the Pretzel based stuff, that was at least 'ok' is now... horrible. Both dry and greasy at the same time. It was unnerving. And all the noise, chaos and .. dancing? I couldn't believe it when I saw folks with kids eating here. But then, my granddaughter was with us this time and tried her food and said "No. Thank you. Can I go home and has something? Even if is spicy?" (The WORST thing in her mind).I will not return here again. And If I do, I'll stick to probably a soda.

We love coming to this Firetap...the food is great, the beer is always cold, but the service is the cream of the crop. Danny aka D-pimp aka Danielle aka Daniletta aka D w/ the freckles is always a hoot to have as our server. The kids love eating here and having Danny hang with us.. she's full of energy...chrisma...the staff is always having fun!! We've always said we'd pay for the service and atmosphere and this place is worth it and then some...stop by say hi to Danny and let Cui pour you a beer!!! You'll love it...our favorite hometown eatery.

Been coming here since they opened and it's declined to a point that I won't be coming back! Tonight they had the music blaring, it was hard to have a conversation. Employees were yelling and dancing and ppl bringing food out dropped the food on the table with nothing to accompany it, like plates with appetizers. Terrible
